I applied OCI for my daughter..it took only two mths... PIO is a longer process maybe 3-5 months....
Just msg me which part of Punjab u are and I can tell you how to go abt it as it is very easy to get it....I don't know what will be the processing for ur little one as he is born in India...Let me know and il give you phone number where u get max help coz those guys went overboard helping me...tc

One of my friend send her new born daughter to India, and he applied for PIO. I think for babies PIO is best. hope it helps...

100% sure..even though they work for canadian government, they are patriotic, support government agencies and not private...they use indian postal system

I doubt it. shld be anytime now..don't know why they gave u 60 days....anyways u got ADR on 14th dec that's 1 months already up......try goin to your mp and ask him to contact ndvo.....some cases go in ip after 30 days some take longer....
alifk may applicant got ADR on 20th nov and she went into IP on 14th dec........so each case is different........since june has started I think u shld be getting IP once they are satisfied with your documents good luck

Just needed an advice from you,I'm an August 9th 2013 applicant recd ADR request on May 9th 2014 for sponsors divorce petition,my husband sent a courier from Canada immediately of the same,we have the POD as well however have applied for ECAS notes on the 21st of May so would not receive the same before 21st of June.Is there anyway we can contact and send the attachments of the ADR over email just to reiterate that the same and be doubly sure it is mailed to them.
We were concerned after reading one of desi girls post where she mentions that they refused the application post 30 days saying they had not recd the same.
Any one in the forum like mahi_milaa_de with similar experience please let me know of any email ID to contact NDVO.Iam kind of new to the forum but have been following the same quite closely.Your early response would be of great help.

After interview, i got an mail from embassy they told me to take a re-medical only for chest x-ray. i had done re-medical on 14/05/2014 at Newdelhi. They give me a payment acknowledgment receipt only. the receipt hasn't mentioned my file no or my passport no, must i sent the receipt to embassy?
the doctor told me that your medical has finished,i send your report to embassy.

now i little confused about the receipt,whether i sent it to embassy or not. clarify me,please,,

No no Jason. only postman with PP with Shiny visa....and why 14th,,,it is 13th. One day earlier even if 13th is unlucky day. for you it is your lukcy day...

Thanks for the update...Hope ur husband is feeling better.... Well, I have a que for you...Did u receive ur AOR stating submit fee and PCC? Was this PPR made on another e-mail?

I had already submitted the pcc as for the fee yes I paid them from the beginning and sent with the application. the ppr was sent to the wrong email address. I never got the ppr email it was only when I ordered the notes that I noticed the mistake with the email address and the note that they had requested the passport.

I hate this process. The wait time is horrific. We all kiss our loved ones so much, my case has only been going for 12 months, some people are blessed to have their file processed before this, others like myself are still suffering. The lack of information coming out of CIC is the worst. All we have is a status update that seems to never change.
