Yes, after marriage we had been to trip and we had submitted the photos as well. Both parents were present with broad smile on their faces as well.
My concern was if we should actually inform CIC about my husband trip to India and show some photos of that time, If it will have an added advantage.

having a trip after marriage (and staying for a month) and both families were present at the wedding is a big plus point...you would probably not have an interview (if your status is 'in process' now then no interview) but if you end up having one then show them your trips to sikkim and any other documents after filing your application...at this point, I don't think sending in more documents would make any difference...but if other forum members say that sending additional documents would not delay the process then do it...otherwise wait and see what happens...

Agree, blessings from parents and their presence is very vital. Sorting out documents when sending to NDVO is very complex procedure, I read somewhere. Even to allocate passport to particular file takes nearly 3-4 weeks. I wouldn't bother sending them anything unless they request and ask you.

I have a que...I guess ur aby is a Canadian citizen by descent(Bcoz of his dad), am I right? wanted to know that r u applying for his Canadian passport from india? also did u guys apply for the citizenship card? pls let me know..thanks...tc

my hubby is canadian citizen as well as my baby also..yes we will apply his Canadian passport from Chandigarh embassy's but after dat when they issue my visa bcoz for apply passport they want to see proof of my visa...also in Feb we was applied his citizenship card...they said it will take 12 to 18 months to arrived d citizenship card..dats y dere is lots of work pending. .nd I hv no choice to do remedical. ..

if you see a government servant wearing kakhi uniform ringing your door bell it's the indian postal service guy who wants to give you your visa and get your signature for registered post...if he shows his palm for tips, give him a high five and wish him all the best...

0.9999% (just because we are talking about NDVO I give .0001%)...so far from the spreadsheet and members who had posted, it appears NDVO has been kind to people whose status went into 'in process'..but don't come after me if an interview has been ordered just because some visa official got mad at his spouse not giving him lunch box to carry and takes it out on applicants....chances are nil that an interview will be scheduled...

Approved as a sponsor - 26/7/2013
Passport requested on - 4/9/2013
Passport submitted - 29/9/2013
Additional info requested feb 16/2014
Submitted May 10th/2014

The reason the additional information was not filed in Febuaray is because we did not find out CIC requested it until I contacted our MP, he was the one that told me that additional information was requested, but my lawyer said they did not get the email, it delayed our process without a doubt. Now cases after us are getting VISA and we are left behind, anyone got any words of support because my wife and are frustrated beyond belief

dont worry..every1 is waiting f d visa..what is ur Ecas status??what abt medical??They extend it or u got remedical request??

you can do better than that..give him your cell phone number and let him call you when he is ready to deliver your visa, so that you can have red carpet welcome with rose petals from helicopter thrown; music players lining up to play music while he walks on the carpet; sweets distributed; and of course political parties making announcements 'thalaiva (leader) is coming..he is on his way...'.... but no tips for him....
