I have applied for my wife sponsership PR on Dec 2013 at CPC-M, still i haven't receivced passport request. Wondering how long will it take for them to request Passport, already they have started processing Sep 2013 applications ..Do you guys think if there would be any red flag in my file. May be they would request for a interview?

Maybe you missed passport request.Go for GCMS note or MP inquiry.

GCMS note reply will take 30 days.I also missed passport request because of wrong email address entered by CIC and came about this information through GCMS note.

guys I recived my notes today , nothing started except medical passed, and I noticed last time they had in notes thet my ex wrote to dem an email and brought up multiple issue, but this time I don't see tht text in my note??? is that good news ???

I am new member here. We applied in Oct mid 2013. and my passport was requested in Jan mid 2014 but since then no updates. It's my husband's second marriage and thus second case. Do you think it should matter?

Hey guys,

I haven't been very active on the forum, but all your inputs have been extremely helpful. I am a March 2013 applicant. Don't ask - my background checks stretched my processing length this far . (I have been to Canada before - hence). Anyway after all that I finally got a request for medical reassessment on 25th April. I did it on 30th April. I understand that there is no fixed time frame for remedical assessment to move towards a DM and subsequent arrival of passport with visa. But does anybody know if this reassessment is the final stage of an application?

I mean could there be more checks after?

Anybody? Please help!

yes sometimes its d final stage of an application...but as u said background checks pending ur application..so now its completed or not..if its completed then u hv ur final stage..after remedical does ur ecas changed into IP..?
