My 2 months have already passed after remeds, still no updates....Maximum I have seen on this forum is 3 months...So waiting is the only option

approach your MP.You will get info within 5-7 days

It was the MP who gave the info that remeds are updated and background checks are going on. and said that now he will do the inquiry after 13 months of processing time is over...

The point is if their is no note on the file if they have received the meds or not, how will you ever know?

Already did an MP enquiry for that and he told us that remedical has already been updated and background checks are pending.

Today My interview went very well asper my knowledge, she returned back my Passport and said she will review my file again and if required mail me for Re-Medical, also said your medical is expired.

My all questions went well nothing was wrong...
she asked bunch of questions nd almost all related to my case... She asked all questions in a very professional way & I replied accordingly... Eventually Interview went well with all of yours support.

. Happy for you...soon you will receive the email for your re medical and then your ecas will be updated with in process....

hey congrats on ur interview one question.. officer asked u to do re meds??? or if required? and when was ur first medical???

for me officer said that we will review and let u knw if we need any document or we will tell our decision.... what about u?

My MP says an MP inquiry will delay the process because it is pulled from the queue. Other posters have said this too while some posters say it does not impact anything.

Not sure what to believe.

you need your passport to do remedicals (though some people have done it without passport)....he/she cannot tell you if your visa is approved or not without checking your medicals (say if they approve your visa before medicals and then they find out you have TB they will have to wait until it is cured)...logically why would they ask you to do medicals again if they have already decided to deny your visa? so relax and enjoy your few months before you get your visa....

Hi guys,

Do we have to inform CIC about speeding,parking tickets ( from New Zealand) and what if we have some due parking fines with ministry of justice ??

yes you will also have to tell them if you were caught smoking in non smoking zone..just joking...no speeding tickets will not be an issue only if you were caught drinking and driving in Canada (which is a very serious offense)

MPs, lawyers, visa officers are all morons (not necessarily in that order)....MP inquiry (I did it twice) or ordering notes (four times) has not affected my processing time (same 10 months to 1 year like everyone else)

Well the good news is that this means you are good so far. They wouldn't request re-medical if they had any red flags.
