Dear all

I need help very urgently

I filled my application on oct 28 which was received nov 19 2013 , my medical too is received

Till today I have not recd any other kind of information and neither the passport request , when I call embassy they do not tell anything

Pl suggest what do I do ? How do I check weather or not I have for passport request or if I missed the request how do I ask embassy to resend the request

Will this delay my visa process ? Pl help

Rather than applying for GCMS notes (which take a month) call up your local MP here in Canada, make an appointment, go to his office and do an "inquiry about your spousal visa case", and specifically ask your MP to ask NDVO about the passport request. The MP will have an answer for you within 5 days.

Today my online status changed to Decission Made i.e, on: 12-May-2014

The application is for sponsoring my 4 year dependednt child as Outland applicantion .
VISA OFFICE is: New Delhi, INDIA

Here are my time lines:

Application delivered CPC-Mississauga on: 20-Nov-2013
AOR from Mississauga: 28-12-2013
Sponsorship Approved on: 06-Jan-2014
Additional Documents Requested by email from New Delhi: 23-Jan-2014
Explanation Letter sent : 30-Jan-2014
Passport Request rcvd from New Delhi by email : 10-Apr-2014
Passport Delivered at New Delhi VISA offIce on: 21-APR-2014
Online status changed to Decission Made i.e, on: 12-May-2014

Yes I am a 11 Sep applicant. I have no idea how it came faster than August applicants. I thought because of the existing file with the CIC however someone on this forum felt that was not the case and I received my visa according to standard processing time i.e. 7 months. Good luck with yours!

Hw can I make an Mp inquiry? Plz need help

easy..find out who is your local MP; pick up the phone and make an appointment; or go to their website and send an email; get all details about your file (file number; applicant's name etc); go to his/her office and sign some papers authorizing him/her to get information of your behalf; and wait for call back from them (usually takes few days to a week or more); in most cases they give the usual NDVO's nonsense 'file within processing time' but if your MP can get real answers as to what is the status of your file he/she can...

12 months of application already over on 10th May. Its been a month and half after remedicals.....5 Months in IP...Don't know how long its going to take now....Tired of waiting..

hang in there..atleast in your case you know for sure that you don't have an interview....

Received Passport with visa,with one year validity after remedical done on April 2014. Really very tough journey it took almost 13 months.

does your 'confirmation of permanent residence' (COPR) shows the same duration of one year validity? when is the last day they say you have to leave India? congratulations by the way....

welcome to NDVO's screw ups world..my case was similar even now I don't have a passport request yet....apply for notes and hope they made a mistake in email address (four times I applied for notes and none of them said anything wrong with email address....then sent an address correction just in case if they got it wrong ..now getting emails from them to correct address)..there won't be any delay in visa process in most canadian high commission's asking for passport is the last stage just Indian and other few consulates they ask for passport in the beginning of the process

Wtf man, my wife still haven't got her re-meds even though we had an interview before you. NDVO no *censored word*ing logic at all.!!

the worst part is there is no transparency and there is no way to contact these bozos to inform them remedical is missing..it is as if each officer has his/her own rules

Till yesterday we were talking about to give it all up and exploring options such as go separate ways or 'Nepal here we come' and one stupid email from NDVO changes everything..it is unfortunate that one person (visa officer) decides everyone's life...but that's the way it is and we just have to play their game...

Thanks for your kind and knowledge ful replies
While I understood that email is sent for passport request I figured out that there is an email request sent by embassy for fee , medical , PCC and passport

Which I am going to send by tomorrow
Pl help me to suggest the following. -

Since I have already paid landing fee , submitted Medicaid and PCC , do I need to resend copies of the same again with package ?

Do I need to ensure anything specific while creating the package ? Or it's just. A normal envelop with my passports ?

Also pl suggest where do I need to send the package to ? Can someone provide the compete address for the embassy .

just wanted to ask you that did you get a separate e-mail for passport request? Im also Nov 15 applicant and got 2nd AOR on 30Jan but no PPR so far...pls let me know if u applied for notes.
