hi frndz im a august 15 applicant my wife visted me in nov on our anniversary which was in feb nd now she is pregnant .. she returned in march back to canada.. itz been 3 and a half month pregnant nd itz it really very much difficult to stay in this long distance relationship plz help us we want to reunite she really needs me at this time her doc had written us about the delivery date on the letter pad should we post dat thing to embassy in delhi with ourr letter... what should be written in dat can anbody plz plz plz plz help us ??????

I just went through the same thing, I came back to Canada when I was three months pregnant. We are September applicants and still haven't gotten any update. My baby is more than 1 month old now. We tried everything. Dr letters, emails, mp inquiry. My lawyer and Myrah(a very experienced member of this forum) told me back in October they don't care about pregnancy at all. You could send an email with a dr letter scanned and attached as a jpg file just to inform them. But it won' make them go any faster. It might help with providing a little more evidence that your relationship is genuine and therefore in the end not requiring additional documents or interview. These are just my guesses though. But I can tell you for sure they don't care about pregnancy. I know this is not what u want to hear right now. But I did it alone and u can too. If you need some more support on how to get through this difficult time private message me.

Hey. received my wifs's passport/visa today.

Here are the timelines. I was a silent consumer of this thread lately.

Application received 20 July.
Passport request 9 Sept
Visitor visa applied in between/approved and she came here for 5 months in Sep
Status changed to in process 24 april
Decision made 26 April
Passport received 1nd May.


Thanks everyone, wish everyone get speedy visa. I know it shouldnt be more than 3 months for spousal applications but hopefully CIC work on cutting the time in future. please be patient, patience is the key. I know its very hard specially for wives waiting there, but be strong, calm and keeping close is the key. sometimes things take time, don't curse your husband. everyone will get the visa. I would recommend that prepare yourself by improving your language skill or any other skills in the mean time will help you settle easily in canada. it's not an easy life in canada but focus, prepration and hardwork will make you successful and life a breeze. I am also 30th Sep applicant, my e case status show application received on 30th sep and medical results have been received nothing else... worst part is my meds are expiring tomorrow

As Asandu said, I don't think the visa will be issued faster because you are pregnant... But don't lose hope, you are an august applicant and NDVO is now working on august files, so you should have good news soon... But it can be worth to try to contact them, just in case...

I realise on this forum that I am not the only women who have to live a difficult situation, I understand your pain. My son is 21 months now still waiting for his father, I am an august applicant. Don't lose hope, your husband will be with you soon to see his baby... So many pregants women and mothers and still NDVO don't bother to go faster...

I am requesting GCMS notes online and there it states "Select the file that you would like to receive", what do I select "immigration file: permanent residence" or "sponsorship file"?

Another question, under "Which type of records do you wish to request?" what do I select "case files" or "corporate records"?

hey ,
I applied for my husband on 6 jan 2014 , got AOR on 7 FEB , file transferred to delhi on 19th feb...
My husband got letter from NDVO on 3rd march about PCC and Reciept of Payment .... how long I have to wait ? I am 6 months pregnant and already sent my doctor's letters to new delhi ..
should I apply for visitor visa for my spouse or there are chances to get rejection? ............. i m really really upset I don't think he will be here at the time of my delivery .... its a mental torture , I am all alone here ... I need him so bad .
