Can anyone answer these two questions please:

I am requesting GCMS notes online and there it states "Select the file that you would like to receive", what do I select "immigration file: permanent residence" or "sponsorship file"?

Another question, under "Which type of records do you wish to request?" what do I select "case files" or "corporate records"?

I also just ordered notes but I put immigration file permanent resident. I figured the sponsorship file would be about the eligibility to sponsor not the status of pr application. I hope I did it right otherwise what r they going to send me? did I do it wrong?

My lawyer emailed NDVO and they called him my wife's file was received on Nov 21 and was sent to new delhi in jan just got to know now. Is that normal that a file is sent to NDVo after more then 1 and a half month and does the countdown to 13 months begins from Nov or Jan. I just want to confirm what you guys tell me and what he is telling me. and yes still no request to send passport.

Hi i am also in the same time line, file received on Nov 29th and was sent to New Delhi in jan, even i didn't get any passport request but i did got a letter from New Delhi about the police clearance and the fees receipt which i already sent at the time of application, So i just drafted a letter to NDVO saying that i did send those docs at the time of application and along with that i did send my passports as well. So after 2 weeks ie on Feb i got a letter from NVDO saying my passports are received.
(My MP said there's no harm in sending the passports thought they didn't ask us, until you wont travel any where ). Just thought of sharing this.

I applied for my husband on 6 jan 2014 , got AOR on 7 FEB , file transferred to delhi on 19th feb...
My husband got letter from NDVO on 3rd march about PCC and Reciept of Payment .... how long I have to wait ? I am 6 months pregnant and already sent my doctor's letters to new delhi ..
should I apply for visitor visa for my spouse or there are chances to get rejection? ............. i m really really upset I don't think he will be here at the time of my delivery .... its a mental torture , I am all alone here ... I need him so bad .

They are still working on September - File transfers, yours is in February. They don't care about pregnancy, there are few other cases similar like yours. They are working really slow, don't understand urgency of employing more people even after pay rise and strike for 6 months this is what we go through, I can't imagine. We should all file for petition against immigration minister, this is cruelty. We should spread the word, through media.

I realise on this forum that I am not the only women who have to live a difficult situation, I understand your pain. My son is 21 months now still waiting for his father, I am an august applicant. Don't lose hope, your husband will be with you soon to see his baby... So many pregants women and mothers and still NDVO don't bother to go faster...

They only ask because it's dangerous for an xray to be performed on a pregnant woman. It can cause birth defects.
