Thanks Desi-girl. I believe your answer of 7-8 months was for "how long until the status changes to "in process"", where as my question was how long after it becomes "in process"

OMG! OMG! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife's e-cas now shows "Decision Made" & she received a call from Chandigarh visa office today afternoon to pick up her passport with shiney visa. FINALY!!! after months(1 year almost) of emotional frustration and mental torture, there is light at the end of the dark tonnel.

Hello, I have question? My spouse got a call twice as Unknown number as no number shown but she missed the call and can it be from Immigration call... from Delhi.

Can you let me know if unknown call are begin made from Immigration or there is a Number that comes on Caller Display.

no idea.. ndvo is not giving me any bad news either.. its kinda silent n peaceful long wait for me as medical has already expired.. lets see.. when they guys speak it out..

That's strange..because they haven't even asked for my passport yet and ecas shows in process.

I thought they are working on August applicants. Looks like many applicants are not in the forum. Good to know that sep has started. Many people got DM in about week, some got in 2wks or more after in-process. You can check on the spread sheet under SN0206. Dont worry and wish you a very speedy visa

That's strange..because they haven't even asked for my passport yet and ecas shows in process.

In all probability they was a problem in communication. Many applicants missed the mail asking for the passport. When did you apply? If it was before August then its better you apply for the notes and check your passport status.

Thanks for the reply! Fingers crossed it comes soon. Regarding being on the forum. I came to know of it only 2 months ago through another applicant. So ya many not on. I tried including my details on the spreadsheet. Despite saving, when I rechecked it wasn't there.

I applied in Nov and Ecas shows application received and they have not asked for passport yet
