Hi all, I was wondering if anyone of you could advise. My husband is sponsoring me and we put in our application last year, April 2013. My ecas changed from "received" to "in process" on March 24,2014, and nothing since then. Would you know how much time it can take under the "in process" status? CIC already has my medical results.

Hey Guys, a question for those who been through interview or those scheduled for an interview ..
One of requirement is we have to carry photo album with my spouse, I don't have any physical album but I do have digital photo frame of sony wherein all the photos are stored. Is that ok to carry or do I have to have a photo album.

Strict NO... They don't allow any electronic devices like pen drives, phone or anything... Even CDs not allowed.

What is your file transfer date to NVDO ? They haven't yet started September file transfers, You can always do MP inquiry, maybe call them and ask for file status check up, you might be required to go in person and inquire about your case NVDO will reply you back in 10 day working days.

Hello, Namaste, Sarsiakal and Salam to All respected members of this thread ,

First of Dear Thanks for your kindness to post interview questions to help any one in this situation.
unfortunately my wife case have scheduled for interview in New Delhi in June, it was difficult enough to wait for 30 months to finally hear from them dont be afraid my wife is Afghan National and our file was initially send to Islamabad since that visa office was responsible for AFG national for PR application but recently all AFG PR cases got transfer to New Delhi for processing due huge backlog for PR apps now New Delhi visa office is processing our case, the file was transferred on Feb 2014 and she got a letter for an interview last week. now since we wait this long I dont want to take any chances, I took time off from work in Canada to accompany her for interview with full preparation to get the visa hope fully or PPR.

We both have never been to India it will be an exciting trip except this interview BS. I would like to plan a decent trip so we can see some nice spots and attractions in India, I always wanted to have trip to India but since this interview give us the opportunity to have memorable trip to Great India. please give your input or advice for me regarding Hotels, places to see and some advices in Delhi once I get there what would be a good option to book hotel and get to High Commission to get done with interview and after continue to trip any advise would be helpful from Food, hotel, transportation, safety anything, please keep in mind, I dont want to spend too much money, a budget decent trip. any member have been through interview that would like to share their experience with us it would be great, looking forward to hear from my Indian fellows.

Warm Regards,
CVimm
