MP enquiry took us to a different tangent altogether!! And I checked with the diagnostics, including elbit who said I'd need the correct name on the mail...which is why i'm looking at sending them a courier as a last resort! :/

And yea, its horrible because I'm stuck with no way to go and they dont bother to get back to our mails either!!

Oh!!! I see... such a nightmare... hope you will find a solution...

OMG.....! Finally got pp back with visa and saw DM a day ago after waiting so long. What a long waiting game! Thank god! I have to say that this is the best forum ever. this helped me to stay positive and patience. Thank you friends for being so positive and sharing your good news with us. I cant forget this. Its so helpful.

Any body can suggest me, My wife Applied my file on dated 9th July at mississuaga. Application receiced 9th July 2013

Tranfer to New Delhi 6th Aug 2013

Passport Requested 4th September 2013

still I found my status Application received.

You file has been received on dated 9th July 2013.

When it would be in In process . Is they Put status in Process in CIC or directly Call or DM

It is unpredictable with NDVO...check spreadsheet to get some idea but each case is different..some people get 'in process' and then 'decision made' then phone call from NDVO about address verification to send stamped passport but for some stamped passport and status directly becomes ' decision made'. Some don't get that either. It is stamped passport one morning and status change couple of days later. Overall, it takes atleast 10 months for status changes or not...if you don;t see 'in process' by end of this month, apply for notes and see if in case they wanted to do an interview...it took me 10 months to see 'interview required' and I ordered three notes and all of them had no 'interview required' only the fourth one showed....

DVA, time is of essence. I suggest you get your reassessment done with your correct name. Send it.
Then deal with NDVO for the name verification.
It will take NDVO ages to respond to mail (snail mail) you plan to send.

Bcoz chandigarh consular section give us email address
Of delhi..I email them nd within 3 business days they response back...

they replied to your e-mail within 3 days?... i e-mailed them last week- and not a single response! what is the e-mail address you sent it to?...did you do it through the CIC website?

just call them and ask, Delhi visa office should be able to give you exact info. Its critical so I won't say and guesses. When I sent my documents, I didn't write anything extra except immigration section... blah blah .. New Delhi India

I am a June applicant and also waiting after my re-medicals (09 April 2014).IP since March 14,2014.

I AM 17TH JUNE APPLICANT, ecase "application received". hope will hear from NDVO soon.

i applied on April 5, 2013 and medical expired on 2 march 2014

then i had re-medical last month on 12 March 2014...after that no progress yet...

What month applicant you are and when did you do your remedical?

Hi DVA,
I totally sympathize with your situation.
If I were you, I would just go to the elbeit centre with a copy of the re-assessment email. Strike the incorrect last name and write the correct last name in blue ink. If they ask then just tell that by mistake NDVO has put incorrect last name. It correct now.
Just make it look casual. Atleast give it a try.
Similar thing happened with us and we just corrected it by hand. Medical centre people asked for our previous UMI number, we took a copy of the original medical reciept. It was all good. It all worked out.

You can call NDVO. They are less likely to help or listen.
