Looking at their extreme laziness, I wouldn't be surprised if they took Easter Monday off, and overtime, only in your dreams

Its always better to be positive, but I have about NDVO or Canadian Immigration officers, who asked them to go on 6plus month strike and spoiling people life. Why they hired such a crappy employees. and then I hate canadian ministers and MPP why they took so long to resolve on the terms. Now when they did resolve this. why didnt they put the extra staff to cutt down that number.

Ultimately we are at the receiving end. We elected wrong people to parlimant, even though you MPPs doing queries for you to appease you, they are not doing their best.
Secondly why did they request and keep passpport for 10 months. This is not legal, they cant keep someone passport for more than a week. new immigrants are at receiivng end and NDVO think they can do anything with them. Their must be some drive of some type to teach such decision makers. I hate writing the rant but sometime you have no option to vent out your feeling. thank god someone created this forum.

Still no update on Cic website but got a call from chandigarh if my wife can travel before
April 30. They told my wife to pick up the passport on Monday. So I guess they processed my
File in New Delhi itself and sent my passport to the nearest office. But I am just guessing it.

Very happy to share that my wife received her visa and landed on Apr 12, 2014.

Details:
03/18/2014: Phone call from NDVO to confirm address and readiness to land in Canada by Apr 7th. My wife asked to call the next day so that she can consult me.

03/19/2014: NDVO promptly calls back asking to land by May 7th and not Apr 7th as mentioned previously. Answer was "Yes".

03/28/2014: DM

April first week: Passport w/visa stamp and other documents received in mail

04/12/2014: Landed in Canada
