I am a July 11, 2013 applicant, we are not alone as there are still some July applicants on this forum that have heard nothing, I found out through MP that my file is still waiting for initial review, meaning they have not even opened my file yet, don't know how much longer it's going to take

my is same guys im 26 july 2013 applicant nothing heard from ndvo side no ecas status,,no email for remedical

can anyone recommend a good hotel (that doesn't make me go bankrupt paying for the stay) in New Delhi near Canadian consulate? we plan to stay for couple of days and whether we get visa approved or not, we plan to visit taj mahal...how far is canadian consulate from airport?

Also, they have lesser files to do in August. They can not only clear the backlog from past months that had more files but also move forward very quickly. Just hope that they are efficient workers.

Hi why there is no update in the spreadsheet for last one week? Why they are taking so much time in NDVO I heard from my friend rom srilanka that it takes only 6 months for them to get the job done.
I don't know very much frustrated because I'm October applicant 1 st week ok may I'm celebrating my 1 st anniversary. My wife is not going to be with me and her birthday is on 1 st week of June. I wish she would be he's before that.


My wife received a passport request along with couple of other documents
Payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee) to our office in Mississauga by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid.
• Submission of police clearance certificates for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not already submitted.
• Submission of original passport along with any old expired passports for you and your accompanying family members. The picture in the passport for a child under 6 years of age must have been taken within the last 3 years. The picture in the passport for a child between the ages of 7 and 18 must have been taken within the last 5 years.

Wat is this letter means? I already submitted the above mentioned papers to missisauga cic office while submitting the application.

I told my wife to submit the passport by vfs chennai.


Pls let me know whether I have to send the other documents or wait n see wat NDVO is requesting for. Pls respond to this query.
