Hi there,
I need small opinion on my status, i became Canadian citizen on Jan end 2014. My spousal sponsorship is still app recd, i am a August Applicant,do you guys think i should CIC that i am citizen now or they will get to know automatically.

There is no harm in informing them. It is better to update them with your status. You can write a letter to NDVO and let them know ur status, and attach your Canadian passport copy along with Citizenship card.

This is DM for us!!!! I stopped looking at our ecas for a while as I was upset that we were in process for so long! But today I came back from work and was waiting for my hubby to wake up and decided to look at ecas... Looked at it like a zombie then about to close it I just realize... Wait a minute... It is not written in process... It is Decision Made!!!!! WOW!!!! I can't believe it!!!! Finally!!!! Now the last wait is starting... Waiting for passport!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!!

congrats finally you made it. If you applied for child this is ridiculous way of working style in NDVO. you are in process since jan 30 and dM on Apr 13 , 2 and half months for ip to dm shame on NDVO

Feeling very sad. I am pregnant and by myself in Canada. I am Crying everyday n it gonna affect my baby but cant stop crying and feeling lonely. I am June 17TH applicant and ecase still application received. praying to god, hope my hubby will get visa soon.

I completely understand what your going through..im in the same situation as you..pregnant and alone in Canada. when is ur baby due?..also did u take any steps of informing NDVO or CIC...? ..im a September applicant and my baby is due in June--so running out of time which is why im always stressed and upset...i really pray for you and everyone else in this forum that our loved ones receive their passports back soon!!! Just stay strong Ashijah..it will come soon! ...please look after urself and ur baby...

hey my indian friends iam afghan canadin I applied for my wife 15 months ago I got approval but nothing after that so far my file when to Ottawa storage from messissaga stayed there for 8monts then Islamabad storage for 6 months and now I found out from cic call center that they sent it to NDVO on 6 march 14 , I don't know where they gonna sent my files next , guys I miss my wife so much plzzz guys pray for me I am very depressed don't know what to do, I sent inquiry to NDVO no reply yet I contect my MP no reply, just waiting waiting and waitng what else can I do, I hope they work on my files in NDVO , do u know guys I was in New Dehli for 8 yrs before coming to Canada I love India and its ppl , I wanna know will they add another 13 months on my application ? Coz I already waited 15 months if any of u guys know something about it plz let me know thank u guys and all the best for all of you.

Yayy! Finally DM after waiting so long. Congrats! I know you are mad at NDVO for taking so long. Dont worry you are almost over with this stupid waiting game. Be happy girl. Hopefully you will get pp back with visa sooner!

Guys...I'm getting a lil worked up about my re-meds now....been a week no response to the mails I had sent for the correction in my name yet! :/

Now any mail i sne dalso doesnt get the auto reply...what is going on?!!! And what can i do?

We infomrmed our MPs office also about this and his assistant who took our case forward said she'll contact them...but no news from her too.

The worst feeling is knowing that they could have extended my medicals and dint! :'(...hope it isnt a reaction to going thru the MP!

I got into IP b4 MP enquiry happened and within that week got the mail for re-meds!

Its good that you spoke to MP about it so they will correct your name for sure. I know it sucks to do re medicals. stay strong dva. You will get visa soon than longer. God bless you!

Please dont be sad ashjiah! Your medicals is about to expire this month but surely they will extend your medicals for another weeks. Did you apply for GCMS notes yet? It might be helpful for you too. Im sure they will look at your file soon before your medicals expire. Stay strong girl! Wish you a speedyy visa!!!!
