i am a bit worried about my file....i dont know when its gonna change to IP and then to DM....its been such a long time...everyday comes with a lot more frustration now

It is better when you are renewing your passport to get the spouse information added. Even that works as a sort of evidence, so they are identify the relationship with this, but they might need more evidence as well. It is helpful in the future as well. I would highly recommend to add the spouse name in the passport.

As my spouse is all alone back in India and adding my name in my in her passport is requiring lot of heeds.
so i was thinking to get it renew as it is.

will this effect our application in any way . getting things done in India is not a easy stuff....

They are working but on a slow snail speed, they are working back and forth on files, you will get a good update very soon, wait is the only option we have, hang in there my friend, this wait is very short.

Many posts on this forum suggests that this is a system generated mail. and nothing to worry about. Many people would say, if you have already submitted those, send them a copy along wiht a covering letter. but you dont HAVE to.

Yes, everyone gets generic letter like this, if you have already paid fee and submitted PCC , submit the photocopies of both along with covering letter mentioning that you had already done this.

I would suggest getting it done as it is better I would highly recommend. And in India its much easier as compared to Indian consulate in Toronto / BLS center in Brampton. Service at these places are much horrible... For adding spouse name you do not have to be in India. Your spouse just needs a marriage certificate which is registered by the Indian Government and getting this is not at all time consuming in India. It is better to have these details updated with Indian Government department (Regional Passport Office) as well.

nothing else... why so ??? not even medical received.. ..

We are all in same boat... mine says just application received and no medicals updated...

Dont worry, its normal, for some applicants they updated their medical immediately after receiving medicals and for some applicants they update medicals when status changes to IP.

so according to you sunsweet i have to send them this documents i.e photocopy of the fee reciept and my pcc.Are you sure because yesterday jass said that you dont have to send them if your wife have already submmited the documents at the time of application.

I repeat what you got is a generic letter everyone of late gets from NDVO giving your ref No. and and asking you to submit fee receipt and PCC if not sent
In your case you have sent at the time of application Hence as a continuing correspondence You are suggested to send
a) Print out of the communication letter received from NDVO
b) Fee receipt copy
c) Copy of PCC received from all countries wherein you stayed more than six months and from India. India you can obtain from the passport office. somewhere you mentioned that you have obtained a new PCC if so please mail the original stating the fact in the covering letter wherein you mention that a, b, c are enclosures.

This is a generic letter. Earlier there used to be request for Passport old and new which now not included may be due to long processing time and passport may be neeed by the applicant for travel etc.

I haven't obtain a new pcc i was asking shud I get a new one coz my wife applied in November I don't think it has expired and is it it mandatory that I have to respond coz all this documents which they have asked are already been given at the time of application.

Guys!! In procees...just checked now....started processing on 28th march.

I hope this is good news after ADR...especially after the scare I got yesterday about them not getting my meds!!
