Hi All,
Just curious if i m in right post. I applied family sponsorship for my spouse living outside Canada. Will it go to Mississauga and then New Delhi? Is the process really 13 months

Yes you are right. You have to mail the documents to Mississauga, After sponserhip approval they will forward the documents (your file) to New Delhi, you do not have to do any thing. Just wait for the email from CIC-Mississauga once you ahve the approval letter you will receive another letter / email from NDVO that they have got ur file

I am happy today and walking all around in my office with my Bunny teeth on ;D ;D
Finally they sent me an email after 10 months saying that my interview is scheduled for May 27th, (2 months Gap which is much bigger than the GAP between my front teeth ;D Lol). Anyways I am still happy that atleast they started working on my file.
Who is the boss? They will know this on may 27th ... Lol

Finally they looked at your file and schedule an interview date for you. Be prepared for it. I know you will do good with it and be strong. I wish you all the best for an interview and the speedy visa!

Good news guys, my wife got an email yesterday saying interview is scheduled for May 5, 2014!!

It's been a long time coming but some movement is good and we still have another battle ahead of us which is to win that interview. The tricky part in the interview letter which states "If sponsor is in India, they can accompany you to the interview. If not, they may be contacted via phone and must be available at the time of the interview."

Did anybody who has had an interview get these wordings? I am wondering if I am some special case or something....

Thats good thing you got an update from NDVO so you will be prepared for it. Be confident! Are you going to attend to the interview with your wife or only your wife? All the best for an interview and the speedy visa! Let us know how it goes.

Not always. Its depend from people's case to case. Sometimes they are so random. It would be good to send more pics and more proofs like any conversation you use with your spouse and bills proofs so you may not be required for the interview. You will probably get visa from 8 to 10 months without any delays and if case is normal. Be Strong! All the best for your processing. God bless!

Dont worry, she may get visa early than 10 months if shes lucky. She can apply for tourist visa to come to Canada but i dont think its good idea because lots of people got rejected for tourist visa when they applied PR for their spouses. Its not simple. I suggest you to wait until she gets visa so be patient like us. Thats all we can do is waiting. Btw you can join in this thread new delhi 2014.

so far, no interview for people whose status has been changed to 'in process' but outside the spreadsheet list, we don't know.

Hope NDVO is going to give lots of updates. It's Thursday and I have a feeling that there will be phone calls made by NDVO today. So keep your phones nearby... Maybe they will call to verify Name and DOB and issue visa on the spot
