Good luck with your interview. Don't know why they would take 1 year to tell you that you need an interview. Hope you can show them who is boss. What date did they give you got your interview?

I think you should wait for NDVO to email you with medicals or PCC. You can apply for GCMS notes to know if your medicals have really been expired or if they extended it.

yes, we came to know about meds and pcc expiry only from gcms notes. we only applied once for gcms in feb, but not sure if they extended it later. our interview is during the 4th week of may.

Hello all does anybody know what does ndvo checks after file is in process?

They check and analyze if you need a interview to get a visa. If its a genuine marriage or not. if all looks good to them they issue visa and u get a shiny visa with passport at home within 15 days.

They will complete background and security checks, and also medicals if not done already.

Thank you so much Desi-girl.....can you suggest what/how long is the process now......even though i see my process is going faster than expected based on timeline sheets i am growing restless......the thing is my Uncle is coming for a visit and want to coincide the departure date......

Hi friends!! need some help...I got an email from New Delhi for remedicals but they have asked me to do only chest Xray again. But they have asked for couple of forms Like Page 6 and 7 of IMM5419 and they have also sent a reassessment form which is to be filled. My question is do I have to fill it and send it or will the doctor do it. Please help if someone has any idea on this....

. Hey thanks. Do you know how they do background and security check.

They will verify your PCC and do an investigation into your past history for any criminal activity and such, I guess. Not 100% sure.

It takes about 8 to 13 months for processing complete application. Totally depends on every application and luck if the applicant has a good visa officer looking at their applicant. Since you are a December applicant, you have a few more months to wait as NDVO is currently processing July applications. Good luck and hope your processing is a speedy one.

congrats on getting your remedicals. You can take the forms to the doctor, show him/her your remedicals letter and ask him/her if they will be filling out the reassessment forms as well. If they don't have to fill it in, then you will be filling them out yourself.

Oh and one more question, does belonging to different streams have different processing times and/or priorities???......FYI I am MPNP nominee.
