Ok... So in your case you will get ur son Canadian Passport immediately as they process Canadian passport very fast if you person applying is Canadian Citizen.

Its wrong..Before applying for your son Canadian Passport you need to apply for Son Canadian Citizenship Certificate first based on one of the parent is Canadian....I applied for the Citizenship certificate of my son on 17th Feb 2014 and waiting to hear from Nd Embassy..My spouse PR is In Process as well at Nd Embassy...

After receiving letter with file number of uci number from Nd Embassy about Citizenship Certificate processing is going on ,you can apply for Limited Validity Passport i.e 2 yrs if the baby is less than 2 yrs old depending upon your travel neends.....

Hi magessss, happy to see you back. There is so much frustration that NDVO has become extra slow, going at snail pace. And you are right, there was pankaj08 had a desi interviewer, and another applicant had a female desi interviewer... So yes they are all rude, as if we have no right to step on Canadian soil as it belongs to them and it's their right so scrutinize us as insects.

I am praying you and all of us will hear some good news soon because we all want to get done with this whole process.

Thank you Desi-girl. It is not the officer from Canadian soil that are rude because they are professionals and the officers who are desi are just piece of crap. They don't no how to talk to people as for them we are just insects who are lying to go to Canada and also the biggest of all things they are not permanent just temporary and will be kicked out after the backlogs are cleared.

Well I am praying for everyone for a speedy visa. They have changed there criteria again now it is much much harder to convinced them that we are married and our case is genuine.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Apparently my due date falls around the time i may get my visa stamped. We are looking at the option of giving birth in India, my husband is a Canadian Citizen. But we found out that i'm expecting only after we sent in our applications.

We don't really know what follows after the delivery, should we apply for a citizen certificate as soon as he/she arrives? The canadian embassy website says it might take upto another 6 months before my child can get the citizen certificate - which means i'll be stuck here for another 6 months. If you could walk me through what you did for your child, that'd be great.

I agree to this. If any parent is a Canadian Citizen, then the child can get Canadian Citizenship.... But if any parent has processed for Indian Passport for the child then I believe its a problem. I would say when the child was born the Canadian Citizen parent should have approached Embassy or Consulate and should have applied for the Canadian Birth Certificate and Canadian passport as that is the time they have the option to do so. But if they did not do that and applied for Indian Passport then the child is considered to be Indian, and then the parent needs to sponsor the child...

If some one can shed more light on this....

From my internet research, the best way is to apply for a citizen certificate as soon as your child is born - 6 months as per their website. Now, i do not know if that is the best way or if there is another one. Then again, it depends on whether you want to mention you were pregnant while applying - we conceived after my applications were sent in.

Hello everyone my interview is done on 17 and a good news that we both clear our interview most question are about our marriage that were it took place how many poeple attend it they ask us to show photos and explain them the lady was very nice and told us that she has no problem and visa will be given to us soon before our medical expire i thanks got... I took interview tranning from a guy recomended by garry sidhu erlier they trained us well and there is no question asked by interviewer which that guy doesnt ask me erlier so i recommend to contact that guy if some one has major problem kk guys bless for me that visa is isued to us soon
