Congrats! It will take 2-10 days to get your passport and you don't have to contact anyone about it...just go out and celebrate with your family ;D

By straight forward, I meant if you had lots of time to get to know each other before marriage and were with your spouse afterwards for some time or not, went on honeymoon or not, had other trips together or not? ... Etc.

I will be quitting my job and relocating. I am aware that I have to inform CIC about the change of address.


My questions are: Do I have to inform CIC about the change in employment status? Also, what is the correct ( and hence most effective ) method of informing them about the change of address? Should I inform them before or after I move?

Hello, I had applied in July and was working for ABC company, I changed my employer and now working for XYZ company, I didn't informed CIC about change of employment status because we applied in Family Class Sponsorship, it doesn't matter if we informed or not, regarding change of address, I think you should inform them ASAP because you are already in IP, call them, e-mail them frequently and chase them until you get reply from them, hope it helps to you, wish you shiny visa soon, all the best!
