Peeps, when ur status says Decision Made , that typically means they HAVE pasted ur visa in your PASSPORT and it's just sitting waiting to be mailed , seems to take as others have said between 1-12days to recieve it by mail " Indian Post" also for example my hubby's status went to IP February 14,2014 and Decision Made on February 22,2014. Another member here also had the DM on the same date as my hubby's and she lived just outside Delhi , on the day she received her PP back , my hubby did not recieve his ( he was in MAH) so I told him to the post office in his city ! They had his passport and had he NOT checked there he wouldn't have been able to receive it for another 3-4days!!

2. validity date...due date generally means the next time they will review again...

so according to my notes mean. They will open my file in may next time. Is that right.

yes in this case; if it is background check or something else that requires paperwork and if the due date is, say, May 9, 2014 and they get all the paperwork before that they will open the file before May 9th..otherwise wait until May 9, 2014 and if they have not received it by that date they will issue another due date...

Folks I have a question.

I have applied for spousal sponsorship on January 28th, 2014 to CPC-Mississauga and Approval was provided on February 25th, 2014.

File is now in NVDO and I have heard that they ask for passport quite quickly from applicants.

My wife is currently with me in Canada and plans to stay till August.

Is there a way to get around her returning when NVDO asks for the passport.
