That form need to fill and sign by you and you are giving an authority to CIC to release your information of your case, a consent form and nothing else, I don't think it will have any negative effect.

Hii guys,

I'm new to this discussion board but I ve been following and reading msgs here and there... and I pray that we all get our visas really quick....(fingers crossed) I applied for my husbands application on June 19. 2013 and we still getting "application received" in out ecas account. Ive ordered my notes a little while and its under the 30 day due date line.

My question is:

Should i call NDVO today myself to see if I could get any answer from them. I've also called my MP and I sent them an email to my MPs office. Because I've been in India since September 2013 I asked my family member to get the help i need at this moment from my MP. Someone help plz!!

Same with my cousin...ONLY APP RECEIVED>>

Hmmmmmm so it wasn't because your medical was about to expire that NDVO chose to grant your wife the visa. I guess just luck of the draw, Happy for you man

It is very rare (99%) that NDVO asks applicants to re do pcc (some 2012 applicants have been asked to redo PCC since there was so much delay in processing some files). So normally you don't have to redo pcc unless NDVO asks you to redo it. Go ahead and do your medicals and submit before the deadline. I believe police certificates are valid for a year.

Oh.. I see that GetMeVisa's status is already IP.. I thought they wont ask for any more details or redo medicals..
Can NDVO still ask for more docs or Redo of Medicals and PCC?
My PCC is expired in jan itself.. but no updates except last status IP.. Advice pls..

Here is an interesting story.....I got married on march 3rd,2013.After 1 whole year i was visiting my wife in india to celebrate wedding anniversary.I have been in india for last 2 weeks.
I have a flight back to Toronto day after tomorrow on 6th of March,so we were all involved in the depressing work of packing and stuff.

and lo.....the Postman comes .....and i get worried because i am sure that it will be an interview letter.......but the package is heavy......and then OMG OMG OMG......Passport with SHINY VISA.
