Wow thats cool so now your wait is almost over buddy they are gonna stamp visa on your passport when they get it. I think you will get your passport back around mid March.

Hii guys,

I'm new to this discussion board but I ve been following and reading msgs here and there... and I pray that we all get our visas really quick....(fingers crossed) I applied for my husbands application on June 19. 2013 and we still getting "application received" in out ecas account. Ive ordered my notes a little while and its under the 30 day due date line.

My question is:

Should i call NDVO today myself to see if I could get any answer from them. I've also called my MP and I sent them an email to my MPs office. Because I've been in India since September 2013 I asked my family member to get the help i need at this moment from my MP. Someone help plz!!

if you are lucky someone at NDVO might answer your phone call..if you are extremely lucky phone calls answering person might give you an update on your file....most times it is the usual response 'you are within your processing time so wait'. The same goes for MPs. If they are really interested and want to dig deep and not satisfied with 'your applicant is within normal processing time so ask him/her to wait' from call centre, then they can find current status of your file. With ecas, it is not reliable as one forum member found out (status still showing 'application received' even after getting visa then it changed to 'decision made' after few days getting his/her visa). Notes, ah the notes, there is a time lag of 30 days and in that 30 days things could have changed. Now that I made you confused and depressed, go ahead and do all the things that you had mentioned. Just because this is the way it is, does not mean you will not get an answer to your concerns. If you are lucky, with NDVO/MPs/case specific inquiry/notes, you might get an update.

I don't think you need to ask for PCC for a baby lol, this must be for adults. I just don't know about the procedures in your case about the baby immigration, maybe you could ask your Member of Parlement about your questions?

Yes, I am aware PCC is not required for the newborn. I asked about my wife's PCC.

hi all..

like many others I'm also kinda silent member of this forum.. also m.June 19 applicant and till today i didn't do any MP enquiry and didn't apply for any notes just because i believe we are not smart enough to follow steps odo NDVO .. embassy officers are damn professionals and they know how to handle each case. as w2e said all MPs and gcms notes are parts of embassy . from last two days i have same condition as other June applicants that some are getting visas why not me? but by time ur tension gets low.. i would like to say all the applicants that don't be panic.. like May applicants, 80% cases of May was cleared in 2 and half months same as with us till march end hopefully we get our happiness..
i guess , after in process they start criminal and security checking which might can cause of our delays .. some gets earlier and getting visas and who gets later their visas are not issued..
the bad thing is only when someone ask AJE AAYA NI VISA. SAAL HO GYA VIAH HOYE NU.. Haha.. that time its like kill them all who ask these questions.. Haha
P S have a faith in.destiny.. who gave us partner and also will give us chance to be with them.. your faith is everything .. till then enjoy INDIA..

So i am a little confused whether i should go ahead and submit my medical or get police also and submit it along with my medicals (i fear they should not ask PC later but they have not mentioned it in the letter either)

It is very rare (99%) that NDVO asks applicants to re do pcc (some 2012 applicants have been asked to redo PCC since there was so much delay in processing some files). So normally you don't have to redo pcc unless NDVO asks you to redo it. Go ahead and do your medicals and submit before the deadline. I believe police certificates are valid for a year.
