Hey guys,

I have applied for GCM notes in Jan 22, 2014 and another in Jan 28, 2014 by mistake thinking I did not did it.

I have not gotten even 1 GCM notes since 1 month. Any suggestion what should I do now. I tried emailing them about the 1 month period which have expired but nothing from them.

Hello everyone,

I have already asked for some information on this topic on a separate thread here:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/adding-a-newborn-child-to-spousal-sponsorship-application-t187447.0.html

I apologize for cross posting. I am doing so just because there are so many New Delhi applicants visiting this thread that I am sure somebody would be able to advice from first hand experience.

I am a Canadian PR and I applied for spousal sponsorship for my wife in August 2013. My wife is in India. My wife gave birth to our daughter in the last week of Oct. New Delhi Embassy requested for my wife's passport just around these days. Along with the passport we sent in an update about our newborn baby girl and asked for direction for what forms to send to include the baby in the application. We have not received any reply from New Delhi yet. Our baby's official birth certificate got ready last month and we applied for her passport. The passport came in two days ago.

1.) Does my wife have to send these updated forms: "Additional Dependents /Declaration Form (IMM 0008DEP)" and "Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)" ONLY? OR do I also need to send updated "Sponsorship Evaluation (IMM5481)" and Sponsor Questionairre (IMM 5540).

2.) Does the newborn baby require medical examination? She is 4 months old.
3.) Should we also send the Passport of the newborn?

4.) My wife's medical exam was done in March last year, and it would be one year next week. Does she need to undergo the exam again? If yes, then since her passport is with New Delhi embassy how would that work out? Same is the situation with her PCC. In absence of her passport we cannot get her PCC either. Would these documents be requested by New Delhi when they take up the file? Would that incur an additional delay? Is there anything which can be done about this to save the delay later on?

Out of all your questions I am aware of the below mentioned.
I am sure about this Yes new born will require a medical examination, but that’s a simple one, they just check the weight, height of the baby.

I believe you will need to inform Mississauga office and get her added on the file for the sponsorship, though I am not sure of this.

Are you sure you choose the option : electronic files instead of physical files? Just follow the video link to see all the steps for the notes:

Further review. I don't know how long we Hv to wait.

Hello Sarabpreet,

Sorry for such painful experience. Forget that evil - What happen is past, but your present is beautiful and full of happiness, hope that it doesn't affect your current application. Also, Hope that none such incident happen with any of us anymore.

Just to clear out here,
The 5 year sponsorship rule will not be applicable to you as you were the sponsor person, but it will be applicable to your ex. The rule applies to the person entering to Canada as permanent resident under spousal family class. Good Luck, God Bless you !!!!

Hi Sarabpreet,
Firstly, sorry to hear about your painful experience. It is unfortunate and I hope he will face the consequences of what he did to you (what goes around comes around).
Secondly, congratulations on finding "the One" who is understanding about what you have been through and seems like he will support you no matter what, for making you feel special and for getting you to trust and love him after what happened to you. Girl, you deserve it, and much more!

Now coming back to your questions, you will have to wait 5 years before sponsoring again. If that's cleared then, I would suggest going through Australia if possible as they are much faster at processing than India (I know for a fact that some Australian July applicants are already in Canada since for the last 4-5 months after getting their visas and in India, July applicants haven't even been started). Also, Australia would seem to be more open minded about 2nd marriages than in India.
You can check for their forums. I have found some, they might be related to your husband or not

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t4487.0.html
discussion about Australian student of different nationality trying for Canadian work permit.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t15747.0.html
about an Australian trying for spousal visa

They are really old but may help.
Also, you can start a new forum and post your question so some Australians in the same boat can help.
I hope all this will help you decide what is best for you and your husband.

Good luck!

Some says making MP inquiry makes file moves faster and visa officer makes a note of it, also it shows the genuinity of the case and both sponsor and applicant are concerned about their status, seniors please throw the light on this.

Hi NAKSA1521, Please see my personal message to you.

Rather sent me the news via FB at middle of night, and so that when I wake up, I wake up reading the best news this morning.
