did you get the file number previously or you got the file number and PPR in just one email.
in my case they sent the file number but the passport was not requested in the same email.

if you also got two email then how much was the gap between first email and the second for pasport.

it is a generic computer generated response ...classic example of one department not knowing what the other one does....

Hi Smbb45, per the senior members of this forum, they always say to wait till they ask for it. Because they might extend it for you if they wanted it. I wouldn't if they have not requested for it yet.

On 20th Feb 2014, I received an email from NDVO to do the medicals. I have booked my appointment for 26th Feb 2014 with the doctor. And today the ECAS status shows "Medical results have been received." Had never done any medicals before for this. Just wondering whats going on with my file.

NDVO has psychic power and they can read your results even before you take the tests....now can they tell me where is my passport request? if I had not applied for visa and if I happen to read your post, i would be rolling on the floor laughing...it is pathetic how NDVO operates....can't trust ecas; can't trust decision made status (it does not mean it is a good news for sure) one forum member got his 'DM' and then he quit his job, had a great party only to find that his visa application was denied; until I see shiny visa, I wouldn't sell my house and move to Canada....waiting for someone to top your story...someone got visa approval even before sending in his/her application; someone got brand new passport with a shiny visa even before sending in his/her passport; visa officer came to someone's house and begged him/her to give passport to stamp his/her visa even though he/she has not applied for Canadian visa...

hey,
Just a quick question.
Some of the forum member who have applied after me or with me have got their medical status already updated on ecas.. where as mine still shows application received. Is there something to worry Or is it that they update these things randomly?

No, this is normal, some people got medicals updated early and some others have to wait until the last minute. I don't understand the medicals process, but It's normal
