Please who have applied for GCMS if they can check their medical validity in their notes. I just wanted to know how long visa officer is authorized to extend it.

iranas I had done my medicals on 17th jan 2013 and they extended it till 7th feb 2014...that's exact 3 weeks....hope this helps

thx magesss means a lot for your wishes guess this ndvo is driving everyone mad with the long wait.....and the amt of files for ADR and interviews and some ppl still waiting clueless to whats happening with their files...hope all backlog till may gets done this month itself.......so everyone can be happy man........its abt time.......wish u loads of good luck

From what I can see with NDVO calling for interview now is that they have change some of there process. They are calling for lots and lots of people to come for interview and to clear the backlog they are just adding 1 more process to call for interview and give the visa straight forward. We were some crazy when we got married and now we are full crazy because NDVO is not issuing visa so soon. This is like a political war were you loose if you don't vote and you loose everything if you do vote. What to do is just a mystery.

Why u didnt do upfront medicals. U dont need letter from delhi with regards to medicals . Before submitting passport do medicals and submit paper given by dr along with passport

Because my wife was at her early stages of her pregnancy , she wasn't allowed to do so... Ok she is done with the Medical Exam Actually today, and they have forwarded it to NDVO , hope everything goes smooth...

Hi,
i had my medical done a few weeks back only ( almost 3 months after submitting my passport). Dont worry, i enquired with the hospital and they said they can do it creating a generic UMI number and uploading teh details to the system ( this hospital had E- medical facility). You only need to make sure you write to the NDVO quoting the new UMI to be added to your file. Also i had posted a copy of the reciept both via email and Courier for extra safety. Though this practice is not common, after enquiring with the hospital they said its possible as long as you have a copy of passport and any other valid photo Id proof to make sure you are the right person. Make sure you also enclose a covering letter also mentioning your Uci number and other details so that they can easily reference it back to your file.

Yah my wife is Done with her Medical Exam today, I just spoke to her earlier and her doctor told her that its not a big deal, your results will get attached to your file.. They just asked for her UCI, copy of the passport and the copy of the letter that was sent to her for passport request... The hospital mailed it to them, not E-file , they told her they couldn't do it electronically somehow.. My fingers are crossed till I hear a good news from them... I have heard few of members got extended their medicals for 2 months or less than that. Mostly NDVO extends their medicals for a month or something like that. Its depends on how closer their medicals expiry date. have you done GCMS notes recently yet? You should hear some good news soon.

Wow congratz mate ya it should not be a problem with NDVO when they see your wife is pregnant and they should issue a visa fast as well. Just prey that everything goes smooth and you get a speedy visa.

Man looking at this good news of new babies makes my heart beat goes faster. I wish I would have done the same thing then I would be a father too.

Is there anybody that has heard nothing at all since they applied?
After submitting the passport in July 2013, have heard nothing back. This waiting game is too much to handle. No offence to people that are getting updates, but ones that applied after us, and are getting some good news, just makes me more anxious! Will be completing 9 months of "just waiting"

I know this waiting game is drivin us crazy. Oh my god I hate that tooo and its totally unfair for us. I hope that NDVO is working hard to clear all backlogs and give all of us visas soon. I hope you will get it soon since your medicals is about to expire in March. All the best!

hey guys, I got a letter from ndvo saying to submit ppc and fees but no ppr , so I called my lawyer and hes saying they didn't ask for passport so we are not going to send it but I see some people are sending it and getting letters back from nvdo saying they recived all things requested and passport. the thing is my wife is not planning to travel and don't understand why my dumb lawyer is tell me not to send the passport, just want to get some feed back from you guys on what should I do???

sometimes NDVO sends 2 letters. one for pcc and second for ppr, but you can send your passport to avoid any further delays

Aww magess. I know your so excited to be a father too. Dont worry you will be with your wife soon and start a new family life after your wife gets pp with visa. We all want to start our new family soon too but stupid NDVO makes us waiting as hell. Sigh. Anyhow, the right time will come for you soon. Im so proud of you here and being so positive too.
