I am a bit tired of checking ecas. 2 sundays ago i got meds updated so will check this sunday and hopefully sunday luck will bring me direct DM.

So are you guys planning travel soon.

I have a question...I do not wish to take you back to the dreadful..unbearable...uncalled for...strike by the foreign workers. I know the pain of this strike is still lingering around....for most of you
But my question is...were the actually Visa Officers on strike? Not processing files and issuing visa...or the actual strike was by their supporting staff(who handle paperwork..mail/deliveries..passport...etc)
Please advise.

Many of us applied when strike & negotiations with PAFSO were in full swing (April-October), still manage to get sponsorship approval, passport request and additional documents request and this is manage by junior Indian staff/assistants/clerks, but actual authorize approval of visas are purely with Canadian visa officers and their were on strike which delays the processing time, hope this help you, thanks!

Thanks a lot to all the forum members, especially myrah for valuable time and support. Im at kerala. how many days it may take for the passport to reach kerala after DM?
