Ramki's answer to the similar quary is reproduced for your information.
when u r checking e-cas which client id you are entering your client-id or your husbands client-id . coz ur client id displays your canadian address where as ur husbands client id displays indian address. if both are displaying same canadian address then mail to delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca with sub change of Address and send them. It will change on e-cas after 25 to 30 days. you can also refer to present address u filled in family information form,

If it shows Canadian address, still they dispatched the passport ???

11 months of application and still waiting :o

Cant make inquiry at ndvo as they say lawyer being ur representative we cant reply to you but lawyer has his own reasons to not make inquiry

Saying too many inquiries will push ur file back
:(

great..you can't do it and he/she won't do it..so wait for another six months agonizing over what to do? FYI, I did several inquiries to NDVO about not getting passport request and two got answered with one saying 'your file waiting for review' and another one 'we can't answer you, ask your lawyer to write to us'..go figure...all these things about you can't do this, you can't do that is just a waste of time...it is nonsense that inquiries push back your file; too many notes delays your processing time; calling MPs will make NDVO angry....

Hi,

When will the address change for the applicant? Will it change automatically affter getting the PPR? Cuz I can now view for mine and my husband e-cas but both shows Canadian address. Thank you :)

I got an amazing response for the MP inquiry. "The file is in review"

What i suppose to make out of it. They are providing a response for the sake of giving one.

Also, MP assistant is saying frequent inquiry will slow down the process.

Your dates & mine are quite same but mine still shows application received. Not sure when they going to start working. Does your file show medical received? Mine dosent!

yes they'll dispatch the passport but to which address we dont know.To the address on the present address of family information form or
to the adress on passport. some people dont stay in the same address as passport. In this condition if they dont call and send to address on passport

congrats...yours is 'in review' and mine is 'waiting for review' so your file jumped ahead of the line...lol....frequent inquiry doesn't slow down the process if that's the case, namachii, a former forum member, would still be waiting for visa..he applied for notes almost every month and it did not seem to slow down his visa...

Dear all,

By mistake I ordered physical GCMS notes and received physical notes on 25 jan.......So how soon can I order electronic notes after this ?

Waiting for ur reply........

you can apply right away but it is better to wait for at least three weeks so that you may see some changes in your next report....but I am just wondering if physical notes is not giving you the answer you were looking for...is your status 'in process' or 'application received'?

I don't think 'in review' and 'waiting for review' got any real difference. It is just like E-cas showing 'application received' or 'in-process', nothing assured. :)

I have a one question, when u checked ur status is it shows ur wife indian address or Canadian Address

Cuz mine still shows Canadian address and lawyer address, please help me

thanks and it still shows her indian address.

I m thinking u got ur passport, but still i m waiting:(

If you dont mind can u tell me which city your wife lives ???

thanks

Vadodara, Gujarat. You can email NDVO or ask your MP to confirm with NDVO regarding your passport. I dont think they will mail over seas, they might have mailed at the indian address or they might call the applicant to confirm the mailing address..

Hi Chinnmaye,

no it wont change with PPR. In my case my e-cas and kids ecas were showing canadian address. but after sending mail to them with regards to change in addres my e-cas shows canadian address where as my kids ecas shows indian address. if u want to change it let sponsor send an email to them
