for your initial sponsorship application you are a july applicant but for your PR you are a august applicant

spouse visa first time. But i have helped a lot my friends here in Canada to apply visa for their spouse after their marriage

This means we are a June applicant?

lol...trouble maker..here I am taking it easy writing few words of wisdom here and there..you want me to become like chief minister of New Delhi applicants 2013 immigration forum (like chief minister of arvind of new delhi)..we should have election for this post and I will make election promises like 'if I become chief minister of this forum I will give it out free visas plus free airfare plus free lashes/slaps to ND visa officers on your behalf. If you elect me you will all write nothing but OMG, I got this and I got that and not OMG this NDVO is ruining my life. My opponent Desi-girl has not proven anything. I have dirty secrets on her like she works hard maintaining list and gives out good advices but is that enough for this post?'

Yeah, it says "we received blah blah . . . . . . July 11, 2013", but my MP told me "you are August applicant", that's why I was a bit confused :

go with ecas....we all know ecas can't be wrong..they don't enter data but it can't be wrong

NDVO is unpredictable. you never know when they will surprise you. I have seen a lot of examples.... one of my friend here in Calgary got the PR for his wife within 5.5 months, that was the complete processing time for him.. And i know lots of other people as well

so dont be tensed buddy and wait for the good news....

don't tell me she applied to ND visa office...we have a reputation of being lazy consulate workers to keep and if I hear someone got his/her visa in 5.5 months, I will have to quit my visa officer job....

why dont u do MP enquiry

I did twice my MP's beautiful blondie assistant with blue eyes told me twice that nothing started yet...MPs of no use..emails to NDVO are of no use it takes a month to get answer...and it takes one month to get notes reports...all this waiting starts with applying for visa until waiting for postman to deliver and then waiting in the airport....

Will my spouse in India get PPR by email or by post? The reason I ask is- in ECAS, I found that CIC has omitted a small thing in updating my spouse's address in Mumbai (she lives in Thane and in ECAS, they have ommitted the word 'Thane')- So I am worried, that the PPR if sent by normal post, may not get delivered. So I am curious to know if I should even bother if NDVO usually sends PPR by email only.

by email....if Thane has to be included in the mailing address otherwise mail won't get delivered, then you can do case specific inquiry to let NDVO know correct address....if you just applied then it is too early to worry..worry starts after 6 - 8 months and the status has not changed..please add your timeline so people can give you correct suggestions based on your timeline
