I never read such thing....could you please give me the link so that i can find this info before doing anything like sending more proofs?

I second that..it is in this forum like this I have seen people write one should not leave Canada..couple of lawyers that I talked all said once sponsor is approved then he/she is free to go and stay as long as he/she wants provided he/she meets residency requirement of 2 out of 5 years

did you check how many days sponsor is allowed to leave canada during sponsorship ?.I read somewhere its 15 days.I know ppl visit and stay for some time but with out knowledge of cic. if you are sending passport stamps you are giving proof to them that sponsor violated condition . Thats my opinion decision yours
I read cic manual and it says

sponsors are not ineligible if they take short holidays or business trips outside
Canada

what I have read is if a citizen or PR card holder lives overseas and applies for spousal visa, he/she has to provide proof that they intend to go back to Canada..proof in the form of owning a house, job offer etc...I am a PR holder and have been living overseas for the past three months and I don't think it is a problem

let your spouse call cic and ask them if there are any conditions like that before posting details to cic. PR should stay in canada unless for canadian vacations

It is not exactly true. Yesterday the President of the Canadian Association of Immigration Lawyer called me. He told me that someone is resident in Canada when live minimum 6 months on Canadian soil each year. So someone can also take 1 month vacation during this period and HE IS STILL resident in Canada...

Yes, that is absolutely true but as we know, immigration sometimes refuses cases based on bogus reasons. If the PR in question had sponsored his spouse for PR and immigration finds out, possibly when trying to contact him that he has actually been outside Canada for the last few months, they will likely deny his application based on him not residing in Canada. Legally he might still be residing in Canada and of course he can appeal but I'm only saying, maybe you are better off trying to avoid having to appeal. It is safer to make short trips only so that the visa officer will have no doubt that the person is residing in Canada and not leave it up to the visa officers definition of how long you can be away to still be considered a resident.

when u get the ppr that's the best time to send whatever u want with a covering letter !! coz they actually see everything and keep it in the application file folder!
Hi Myrah,

I am new to this Forum. you are doing a great job. Congrats for your dm. Hope you get your passport very soon and wish you all the best for your future. Also Congratz to every who got dm.
I met my wife 1st time when i visited india in december 2012. Our relationeship was finalized in April 2013 when both families had small ceremony in my absence. After that we started talking to each other. I arrived india in october 2013 and we got married in october. I was in india for 1 month after marriage.
I applied for my wife's sponsorship on October 25, 2013. SA on November 20th. PPR January 16. I am going to send my passport early next week. At the time of application, i provided following as proof of our relationship:
Photographs: Ceremony in april(8 photos- In my absence) and wedding photographs( 14 photos) only.
Honeymoon trip booking details,Passport stamp copies for my visits, copy of our joint bank account we opened, phone call history from April to October. We dint submit and chat logs for gmail or whatsapp.
So my question is should i submit more documents with my passport. I can submit, more photographs including honeymoon pictures, diwali pics, her b'day pics, karwa chauth pics etc when we were together;more call history Also passport stamp copies for Mauritius visit; gmail and whatsapp chat logs. Do you think this can cause any delay. Is there anyone on forum submitted documents with passport and faced any delay?

Thanks
