Thanks Myrah for the quick reply.

I started working here last month. I was not aware of the timelines otherwise I would have not taken this assignment :( I will be marrying this December so it will be actually three years from now that I will get my PR if I apply through Abu Dhabi and I dont want that.

u still have a long way.. :P.....I think once u get married and start the processing then take a call lets see new delhi's processing time by then heheh right now 12 months the rate they goin will definitely go up in the next few months ...but still new delhi is a better option ...u can apply thru here... :) and all the best :)

VFS status says "Passport is in transit" to Kathmandu. Hope i don't have to face similar betrayal like last time from NDVO.
PS: ecas still "in process" and MP said all assessments passed. I called MP today also to make confirmation of assessments passed. He said "yes passed"....Crossing my fingers, legs, hands :D

Thanks! :) Yea its a long way to go. We have already stayed apart for two years and now three more years to go ! and I cant see that happening. Had my fiance been a citizen it would have been fine as she would have stayed with me but she is still on a PR so we cant stay together also! Its already burning me out! :-\

GCMS NOTES - are essentially all the notes that the visa officer will have on your file basically they tell u whats passed, if your interview is waived or recommended, when was your file last touched, what was the last location of your file etc.......it take 30 days to generate but its all worth the waiting see the link below how to order

well they are still in may applicant and only 1 person from june got in process on this forum.....u can have a look at the spread sheet below my signature...it will help u to know the processing of 2013 :)

Thanks Myrah7 for the information.

Are you aware how do they change the status from TRP to PR. As my child is already in Canada what happens for the Passport request to be submitted to New Delhi?

I just applied for the GCMS notes online today Jan 17-2014 .

if you started working in kuwait for one month you are not eligible for application through Abudhabhi you should be legally resident one year before the application. In your case ND is only option as per my knowledge

welcome :) good u shld expect it in 30 days
not really aware but maybe you will be notified of this and will subsequently be contacted by the office.. I think it better to get answers from someone whos doin the same process as u are they will guide u better this thread is mostly for spousal visa.... good luck to u :)

There are people who applied for child sponsorships from canada as outland after child is here in TRP. But they applied through ottawa and most of them are US residents.I saw them in one of the threads here . In your case since it already sent to delhi only way is either one of you take child to india and submit passport

or send only passport through friend to india and post it from there and arrange some one to bring back once visa is stamped.NDVO will not reply if it is under processing times even its for a kid

Is the processing for a child same as spouse?? If it's yes that's really sad they shld make children priority !! I can't ever imagine coming back or dealing with ndvo again!! Never again!!

should not be same even i applied for my kids. waiting since september 2013 .Already 3 months after sending passport . got gcms notes nothing has been started.Normally they say 2 r 3 months to process but its not official. first try sending them passport as its a child visa he/she may not be required interview so not required to move out. did you inform cic ur kid got TRP and staying with u in canada.

In their op they mentioned they will strive to complete child and spouse applications in 6 months.Do you see anything lik that happening?. As per statistics june 12 to june 13 they hav only 83 dependent children. I gt this from data.gc.ca
