Is this true if one applies through lawyer there files move faster then the ones who apply on there own?????

no....you can do it on your own and as far as NDVO is concerned it does not make any difference if you apply on your own or through a lawyer; similarly for them it does not matter if you are a citizen or permanent resident card holder applying for your spouse; everyone takes a number and waits for eternity

ohhh so your medical got updated same day you got DM ? yea everything else has been passed in gcms notes ... security showing blank though .... eligibility and criminality has been passed on nov 29... I will send tmmrw ... Do i need to attach a signed letter as well in the email or just medical report is fine ???

no no
just send the enquiry from the applicant and not yourself...that way you do not need to send the letter...if you want to you have to attach the representative form and send it along with the enquiry.

customs officers tried it on and asked her where she bought the jewelry and the discussions about how to buy jeweleries went on for some time the line got backed up and more customs officers joined the discussions, passengers joined the discussions while her husband was anxiously waiting waiting waiting for her to come out of the customs hall

I applied in July 2012...I had made a mistake while filing travel document didn't mention my foreign visits but had luckily sent my old passports. so they wanted some clarification..and my file got stuck in the strike..So now finally they had requested for re-medicals on 5th of December and finally they issued the visa on 2nd Jan 2014. it took one and half year precisely...

This is indeed an OMG moment!! Congrats on getting your visa finally and being with your husband soon.

Today I got my GCMS notes. Just medical passed and nothing started

Unfortunately, it is too early for any more updates than this because you are an August applicant and NDVO has just started processing June.
Does your ECAS say medicals received?

DDP2299 26th feb applicant IP since 18th September got a call today to pick passport with visa on Monday what an awesome day.....finally they giving all people the visa ;D ;D ;D don't worry guys the closer your medicals come the faster they are giving out visa's they don't want 2013 to do re-medicals so just sit back and wait for your call or dm ....... ;D ;D ;D

Very sad day of my life. *censored word* Canada and its systems. *censored word* NDVO. They have no right to play with our lives and time like this.

What a shady country we live in. Canada means a big bs, yeah better life my ass. I truly regret chosing Canada as my destination 11 years ago.

We understand your frustration, but I have a feeling that NDVO is not finished giving out IPs and DMs to May applicants because only one June applicant got DM and not a whole bunch yet. So I am hopeful that there will be some good news for May applicants on Monday. Just be patient for a little while longer. I am sure DM is within reach now for you.

m really disappointed.. mp said it will take MINIMUM 4 months ( from dec ) to review ur application. 12 mnths is MINIMUM processing time not MAXIMUM.. im speechless huh..

Hey, long time no see. I was wondering what was happening with your application. This is awful news but did MP elaborate why the NDVO is taking so long to review your application? Your medicals have also expired so they should not be taking so long. Praying for you too dear for a speedy DM.

Hello there.. I applied for my husband in April
And I got papers back just for one form
and I submitted them again in June. Delhi embassy took passport
August 7,2013. I went to Delhi embassy with my husband to notify n my file that I am pregnant now
I am 25 weeks pregnant and I am
Waiting for my husband so badly. Bcoz at this time I need him. I am so worried
How long more they will take to give him visa? Please help me out

NDVO is just starting June applications. When did you reapply in June? Hopefully, if your case doesn't have any red flags, your husband should be having his file processed by the end of February, early March. So all the best and I hope he is present with you for the arrival of your bundle of joy.

I dont know your name but God bless you. Very sorry for the burstout like that. I paid a steep price to come to Canada. I love this country and i work really hard for it. I just thought the system will help me when I needed them the most.

Hmm dont be sorry for that. Same here i have been here for so long and i do love it but life isnt so simple. Life is life. I know this really sucks but one day you going to be with your spouse soon. God is always with you. Be happy.
