I have over half the reasons listed above..should I send this list to NDVO and ask them to save time and schedule my interview right away? get it over with this nonsense already....in Myrah's spreadsheet, there were 7 people in May before me waiting for some response NDVO, now it is 3....today three people got DM at this rate I have no idea if and when they will schedule an interview for the Feb/Mar/Apr applicants who are waiting to hear anything from NDVO...Myrah7 said:REASONS FOR INTERVIEW
I don't necessarily think that one of these things on their own is a red flag. But in combination they could be a problem. . A few possible red flags could be: (PLEASE NOTE U NEED TO SUBMIT A LOT AND LOT OF PROOF THAT CONVINCES THE OFFICER YOUR MARRIAGE IS GENUNINE)
- different religions
- different cultural backgrounds
- different educational backgrounds
- different professional backrounds
- if applicant applied in some other category and rejected several times (Any refused visa to a Western country is a red flag. One is not a big deal. The more refused visas you have, the worse it looks.)
- no formal wedding/reception
- family not at wedding
- friends not at wedding
- no/few trips together
- no/few trips to see each other
- very short period between first meeting (i.e. first getting to know each other) and marriage
- quick proposal after first meeting, followed by quick marriage
- haven't met each other's parents
- haven't met each other's friends
- big age difference
- previous marriage they really need divorce, separation or annulment papers if not a big RED flag
- very different financial situations
Travel history and delay/interview is a myth. My folks had over 60 trips in span of 30 years with 27+ trips to US, 10+ to UAE, rest to Europe and Far East. They lived in Canada for 3+ years on visit visa and yet we see applicants who have no history still waiting so really don't know how these guys operaterajinregina14 said:& I do not have any travel history, my passport is totally fresh, are they going to interview me still?
