so when u order for GCMS note thats mean both applicant and sponsor have to print it out n sign it right? so if sponsor in canada then he or she needs to send it to india for his partner to sign it.....after signing it then have to be scanned n attach it according to online request?????

both parties need to sign. Scan the document and send it to sponsored person who will in turn print the document, sign it and scan it again and send it to you as an attachment.. I scanned my PR card too (not sure if it is necesssary)and send all the documents as an attachment and wait for 30 days..if both of you are in India take a trip to ND carry posters condemning NDVO and ask for my buddy Arvind's support

Dependent/spouse visa NEW DELHI - 2013 APPLICANTS.

My husband works in canada (workpermit visa - Temporary resident ) , Mentioning as spouse he applied for my visa (dependent visa) and we got the visa rejected stating that the "Purpose of visit" is not applicable. Now we have re-applied for the same. Will it be hard to get my visa now ? IF so Do i need to submit my passport to the Consulate While its being processed ? All the processes are carried out by people from his office (immigration dept of an MNC). its been 6 months we got married and i am still waiting for the progress.. Can someone Help me to figure out the proper route.

could anyone who received "acknowledgment of receipt" letter from NDVO after file moved to Delhi, confirm that acknowledgment of receipt letter also includes the part in which passport is requested.
we submitted a case specific en query to have our email updated as it was entered incorrectly in NDVO system. we got a response stating that our request is noted but no response what soever to our request to resend the email to the correct email address.any suggestion how could we get the email sent to us.

second question, we applied for GCMS on Dec first week and we received a letter stating extension of 60 days needed to respond to GCMS request. is that normal? cos the first time we applied for GCMS we received the note in less than 3 weeks.

Congratulations !!How about your e-cas status? I did recieve call on January 8 but we missed it however we had email them twice saying that we missed thier call hope they consider those email as verification. My ecas is still in process... hope I get my passport soon.

I gt a call on jan 7th....visa isuued on the same date

My ecas is still in IP....try MP enquiry..they might let you knw whether ur pp has been dispatched or nt..good luck to you

I think on a work permit visa it is easier to get the visa....wonder why we cant get as a dependent visa...talk to a lawyer I would suggest....

Hi, I have posted the case of my brother earlier and now adding an update. His visa was denied first time and appeal too. Then a fresh application was submitted in 2012 and his interview was conducted at ND on May 2, 2013. We didn't hear back anything from the embassy till now. I have filed for GCMNotes last month and 30 days will be up next week. Today his status online is showing "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." How long would it take to know the outcome and can we expect the kind of output?

Received passport today with not so shiny visa. Visa stamp indicates that it was issued on 03-JAN. DM showed up on 05-JAN on ecas. And received pp today, 11-JAN
