I have 5 passports and travelled to most countries since I was 1 yr old and im rfv......it doesn't slow down your process for sure......but I guess if u have stayed in any other place for more than 6 months it might or may not delay.....it really depends on how u present the application and depends on all proof submitted coz some members for visa in normal processing 6-7 months and some others got it in 8-10 months ..........they always like to know for reasons known to them if someone has over stayed the visa or has travelled etc etc .....

Oh wow.. Time really flies, doesn't it. Happy Anniversary in Advance. May your bonds keep getting stronger to help overcome any hurdles you may have to face (like the one we all face currently). I hope you get your pp with visa back before then so you can celebrate in Canada

got a call from NDVO to send PP, anyideas how long it might take to get pp back with visa stamped from now.

I am the last man standing with nrn1 getting passport request...I add blue color to the spreadsheet and attention grabber as one scrolls down the spreadsheet...

While submitting the proofs did u make an index and you know submitted the application in a way that it would be easy for the officer to understand and go through it conveniently !

You told us me and myrah that we will receive the pp or dm at least on wednesday...today is wednesday and it doesn't seem we are gonna be kicked out of this forum today...
So what do u have to say about this in *your way* !!

I didn't consider ragu and kethu's position when I calculated the events for today..I guess my stars were not aligned then...maybe I should consult one of the black magic tantric practitioners who advertise their services in canadavisa.com to find out why prediction did not come true....

you will get it before pongal otherwise hot pongal rice will be shoved in visa officer's mouth soon....

I maybe one of the oldest gurls here age doesn't matter.........though I feel 21
im waiting 1 month before u in the application date and I got married in jan so in 19 days I complete 1 yr of my 1st anniversary..........
there are 2012 ppl waiting since april may 2012 still haven't received their visa's seeing them suffer like this I really don't feel bad I haven't got my visa as yet........I can feel their pain and really don't complain coz their pain and suffering is nothing to ours..........
so don't loose hope gurl.....life is Canada is not that beautiful as u think of it........its a new challenge a new life and trust me the weather rt now is horrible next week shld be slightly better if not worse......spend time with family coz u will miss them like hell once u are home sick :-*

This post is the reason why everybody prays for u ...the only thing i dont agree is with the life in Canada is not bful because my life is beautiful as long as i am with my husband no matter where we are....i wish u get speedy visa myrah all the very best.

lotus saini APRIL 20TH APPLICANT got passport back with visa today DM on 6TH JAN stamp on pp is 2nd jan.....valid till 18th march

if her visa is valid until 18th March does this mean she has to be there by March 18? then what is this confusion last week about one has to be in Canada within 30 days of the receiving a visa (I assume COPR date and visa date on the passport are two different dates)

presentation is not the problem..it is the kindergarten drop out morons working at NDVO the problem...big binder with index and color indicators stuck to the plastic jacket...even the supporting documents chronologically collated and as someone said before I did all these for my lawyer to review and offer her expert opinions only for her to collect fees...I was reluctant to hand over my big impressive binder with supporting documents to my lawyer with tears in my eyes (the way TV serials moms cry when their daughters get married and leave)

pongal is on Jan 14th and 13th is the day when they burn old clothes, tires, papers etc (create toxic pollution and add to the existing car pollution)..need to run away to neighboring state to escape horrible pollution next week

so it is based on when the medicals expiring..hers is expiring in March
