I got an email from CIC that my application to sponsor has been approved and my file has been moved to NDVO. Could you tell me what is the next step? How long would it take? I am a Nov.29th applicant.

congrats when u got the letter? date? now wait for passport request (ppr) thru email u shld get it within 1 week to 2 months from now

Oh thats good news...they will ask for ur pp in 1-2 months..and you got to have a lot of patience...it will take 7-8 months...rest is up to ndvo..they are very unpredictable.. Good luck

no dear not in 2013.....3 ppl went for interview in 2013 .....1 guy disappeared after interview id spousal ...no idea what happened to him and another 2 applicants got approved now they are doin re-medicals

thanks....I got a birthday wish card from jetairways chairman as well (of course it is an automated birthday card) but i would rather have a free airline ticket....my brother -in-law once got a card from Obama and was so excited thinking that obama personally remembered to send him letter - acknowledging his letter to him (every conversation he had with relatives somehow ended up in obama's personal letter...example 'the traffic is bad today' 'you think this is bad... washington d.c. must be so bad but obama somehow managed to personally send me a card in spite of the traffic.' go figure how traffic in India correlates with obama). I didn't have the heart to tell him that it was an automated response.

Thank you Bhatiameghan...I know I have been reading this forms on how long people have been waiting. hopefully 2014 NDVO will move little faster on issuing visas to all

officially next is passport request followed by in process, decision made and visa stamped passport sent back to your address...anywhere from 8 -12 months if you don't have any complications in your application...personally waiting game and staying away from ecas checking...if I started putting a rupee every time i had checked ecas, i would have built a house 28 floors next to ambani's (my helipad is higher than his, forcing him to built another floor and i raise the stakes by building two more floors)

hmmm..yes but again it could be a he or a she..I have known call center guys doing pedicure/manicure, threading and wearing jewellery, cooking food at home while call center gals smoking, drinking and partying till dawn..roles have been reversed these days and it is a welcome sign.....any other questions that inquiry mind wants to know? lol
