I think I know the answer. We don't have to worry.

Whether the entry gets created by CPC-M or not, it is the review officer that updates it. I suppose if there is no entry, he/she would create it at the same as the initial review.

Nothing to worry. And others can chip in.

Thanks,

This NDVO people are so unpredictable.

thanks

Maybe you should send a case specific enquiry with URGENT in the title asking why you did not receive PPR yet.

The info is current I believe at the moment when the notes got generated, not when you requested them or not when you got them.

You can check couple of things in your notes. Where is the location of the file? FCU-FC Review? If it is true, then your file is for initial review and you will get a call to send in PP asap.

Did CPC-M send your IMM1344A to New Delhi? Also financial eval form? Check Aswin's notes.

Thanks

on the first page there is a FCU-CA review. Where would I find FCU-FC review (what does it stand for anyway?)? Where do I find information about IMM1344A?

tell me about it...these people should at least be consistent in what they do..I compared my notes with ashvin's (thanks ashvin, it was a big help), not much difference except in three areas - passport request; end notes description about relationship and interview waiver; pcc information on page 9 (not sure why mine doesn't show anything about police certificate)

So now that I've landed back on earth...key dates and events from my notes:

Application received at CIC-M: May 17th (transferred to NDVO on Jun 4th)
Notes generated: Dec 31st (received Jan 2nd)

Medicals updated: June 2013 (then NDVO went into hibernation mode...)
File moved to FCU-CA room from Registry: Nov 1st
File moved to SC01504: Nov 26th
Financial evaluation and Sponsorship agreement forms sent from CPC-M to NDVO: Nov 28th
Police certificate info added: Dec 23rd
Travel docs database (FOSS) searched for both sponsor and applicant: Dec 23rd
Eligibility recommend passed: Dec 23rd (INTERVIEW WAIVED! file sent to officer for review, so eligibility status is "in progress")

Criminality and Security: not started

My biggest tip: always look at paper file history to anticipate what's coming next! In my case, it took 5 mnths for file to be moved to the review dept, then took a month to assign a junior officer, then another mnth for him/her to open it, God knows wen the senior officers will review and stamp visa!

Criminal and security check will probably take only a day since my spouse has no travel history, so maybe another month before DM?? His PCC expiry date on notes is Feb 16th and medical is Feb 27th..so has to be before that!

Apologies for not being correct. I meant to say FCU-CA review. And I have a strong feeling the moment your file gets to be reviewed, you will get a call from NDVO asking for passport.

Info about IMM1344A should be in the incoming section. Even CIC is not consistent on when they send this info to NDVO. For example, for me, this info was sent to NDVO Sept 3 and for Ashwin it was sent in November while her application was before me. This is a form you filled and CPC-M sends it to NDVO as a scan attachment. Go figure.

Thanks,

Thanks for sharing. Although you left File number at couple locations unmasked like in paper location, I don't think it is a big deal.

You should be seeing IP pretty soon. Educational to compare the notes, thanks again.

IMM1344A is the sponsorship application and undertaking agreement Form (part of sponsor's forms that u filled out wen u applied)

Hey Paul, correct me If i am wrong. But, what i see from the notes that they made a well note of the point that you spouse had small siblings with their date of birth. I think they want to confirm through interview that your relation is genuine. And not that your spouse chose to marry with you for: better life in Canada, and to bring her siblings to Canada later on - what i meant NDVO done want to leave any stone unturned to make sure that relation is genuine. As they are no other possibilities in your case for fake marriage. NDVO think that sibling with be the reason to marry. I don't know about other place but in Gujarat it's quite common to marry and go to Canada and then get divorce. Then, come back arrange re-marry such a way sibling can also come. I only see siblings as Red flag, so I believe that NDVO are 99% sure that your relation is genuine but just want to have interview to clear their small doubts.

Excellent analysis. Really helpful although it means probably bad news for me. You see NDVO got my file some in July (paper file) and sitting there in the registry. As per my last notes cut on Dec 15, it is still with registry.

To compare dates and understand that NDVO is way more inconsistent:

Your file was received from CPC-M on June 9 and in the system June 14 at registry and then moved to FCU-CA room on Nov 1.
My file was received from CPC-M on July 9 and in the system July 14 and still in the registry as of Dec 15.

NDVO is quite puzzling to say the least.

Thanks for sharing your notes. Your file may go into IP this week itself.

My GCMS notes for anyone who is patient enough to go through the 32 pages to find anything that gives them peace of mind.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0vOxGX8a9tkakF2VlIydV91SHM/edit?usp=sharing

you security and criminality has not started yet
medical and pcc has passed
says application is in progress ( i think IP)
interview waived

I dont see any red flags either. But what is missing from this note is any mention of photos and ongoing communication. Usually they make a decision whether relp is genuine based on how comfortable the couple look with each other and with family around in photos. Also, they typically make note of chat logs or phone records to indicate strong bonding.
