You have to send the consent form and proof that you live in Canada like pr card or passport. You can check under Myrah's spreadsheet and you will see gcms from the bottom beside new delhi applicants 2013 and click it. It will explain you how to apply for gcms.

I think first or second page shows status of each criteria... Also go to last 2-3 pages to see incoming/outgoing documents n check notes to see what's done on yr file....

Is this your first time for enquiry? Do you want to email to NDVO or MP? You need to give them your sponsored person uci and file number. When did you apply the gcms?

Just send an email to atip-aiprp@cic.gc.ca with the receipt as attachement.

Is it not required to give them sponsored person uci and file number? Jst the receipt?

I have applied for spouse visa from Canada

we have submitted all fee and medical in advance (in Canada ).

Passport sent to Delhi Canadian embassy on 2 July

My ECAS has recently been changed to "IN PROCESS"

1. We received your application for permanent residence on may 28 , 2013.
2. We started processing your application on December 3, 2013.

Does anyone have prior experience or knowledge to share with me about how much longer it will take until decision made?

Congrats on the update! But it may take a while to get DM, around 4 to 8 weeks, maybe more. Hopefully soon though.

Last time GCMS was cut around Nov 9 and that time nothing has started except medical in progress. My next GCMS is due late this week or early next week.

For those of you that remember my venting reply to my MP, the following is the reply I got today. I am not sure if they rechecked with NDVO again (last one was last week) however I will get an appointment this Jan and hopefully can ask them to enquire again.

Dear Mr. ABC, Your file has been opened but has not yet been reviewed by an Immigration officer. So we don’t know yet if an interview will be requested. We understand that the delays are long. For example in some Canadian embassy sponsorship are processed in more than 2 years. These waiting time are unacceptable. We believe the government has a duty to process applications in a timely manner and we are keeping up the pressure on the government. As per a meeting with the office, we will contact you in January. We will close the office from December 21st to January 5th.

how nice that they have a long holiday for doing nothing in their offices all day long. They acknowledge that the waiting times are unacceptable but don't seem to be doing anything about it. They should hire more people and give us the blasts of DMs that we have been waiting for for so long now.

At least, I hope that in January, they don't tell you that you are within processing times and to come back in another month...
