I am working for U.S based film studio in Chennai and suppose to travel London and States for official work . But I don't have my passport and my Company is repeatedly asking me for my passport from last 3 months . Now my job is almost in trouble. And I am not getting any confirmation from delhi Canadian Embassy....I am literally scared and don't know what to do .
Hopefully it will come in another 1.5 month otherwise I have to quit my job ..

Do I need to get my driving lisence,passport,birth certificate photocopy attested from a notary even if they are in English language while submitting application.Somebody told me every photocopy document need to be attested no matter even if it is in English.Is it True??Pls guide

Hi guys.....my bfd was 15-12-2013 and hopefully I will get some positive news soon....i got a questions from you guys.....if I visit NDVO personally....will they give me updates about my file or not???

if you call their number they have a recorded message that you can only send any thing through fax email or by post if you have to send anything but they will not entertain even if the candidate will go to NDVO.....they will not allow you to enter.....unless you have an appnt and NDVO has asked for you to come down like an interview or something....

I think there is a note in the Application guide about notarization...Also I had called up the call center and they had mentioned that the photocoies do not need to be notarized but you need to send the original receipt for the payment to CIC ...only if you have non english then you need to translate it....

guys latest news ndvo has started june applicants ....outside this forum thru my friends friend
4 june applicant and his ecas is in process from 7 dec
so ndvo has jumped from may now gone to june......don't know why cant they process all applicants in the month and then go to the next month !! anyways good luck to june applicants waiting !!

This is what is called andher nagari chaupat raja......they are just not clearing the backlogs and going for fresh applications which is ridiculous......

The most annoying thing is immigration process is so secretive........like they are doing some sort of crime investigation. For god's sake be more open, tell people when can they expect their visas even if it's an approximation. They can post on their website that they are working on April or May applicants and this percent of people have been issued visas. Just need better communication......worst department ever to deal with.
