Congrats can_4visa....happy married life...btw you should actually put in all your things that you want to get later which may be expensive so that you can get it without custom charging you....you have 3 years to get those things duty free

Hey guys quick question, When i had request to submit my passport, i was told to pay the landing fees also, which was around 495$. I think we have to pay this fees along with our file when we initially submit at Mississuaga ?

One more question, Embassy wants PCC if we have stayed in any country for more than 6 months. Wht about if some one has stayed in Canada for more than 6 months on student visa? Does he has to submit the PCC from there too or he doesnt need to submit???

that DM was that your sponsorship approval was approved and hence sent to NDVO.....wish it was DM for the whole process

Yaa that was DM for the sponsorship Approval and hence sent to NDVO.
I think i have wait at least couple of months to get DM for the whole process.

you should just submit both the fees about 1044 or something to prevent delay as they will come back to you for you to pay which can take time so it is advisable to just pay at the same time

Hey guys just wanna share my landing experience, I have landed over here at Toronto on the morning of 7th dec. Whole process waa smooth and took around 10 mins except waiting time.
1. Handed over the declaration form given to us during flight.
2. Waited in queue for 30 mins
3, Signed my COPR in front of immigration officer, he has just asked about general details like my canadian address n contact no,
4. Photograph was taken for PR card.
5. I was directed to baggage collection area, in between some magazines n forms were handled to me,
6. Then i have collected my baggage.
7. custom officer just asked that if there are any goods to follow.
8. Came out of airport.

Yes there is change machine , trolley machine itself have option for change I have just used that thing only.

Thanks Can4visa for sharing your experience and giving the true facts....that's what is important giving wrong information is the worst someone can give.....ITs hard to imagine Toronto Pearson being one of the most expensive airports and largest one will not have a machine for notes ....

I think the call center would be the best....call them up and ask....they did help me a few queries on what to fill up on the form....

It shows they have received my application and medical on 16/Oct/2013.
