I dont see how they need 3 months for a 2nd enquiry when all they have to is pull out the file or contact NDVO.
Anyways..thats how it is...u gotta wait 3 months between the enquiries.

This maybe generally true in Canada but I believe it is not true for India.

Generally I feel December is slow all around due to people taking vacations, etc. It's the best time to take vacation as you get 3 statutory holidays (xmas, boxing day, new years). The full pace will likely start in the second week of January again.

Just my assumption, hope I'm wrong .

sometimes I think I should have postponed my marriage till the NDVO strike was over.....this way at least it would have not caused problems with my in laws and wife about this much time its taking...

getting a visa is all luck..some guys who have applied before strike got it; some still waiting; some guys after the strike got it; some are waiting....lack of transparency makes everyone frustrated...hang in there, you will hear soon from morons... all it requires is some stupid visa officer to open the file and review

as per Myrah's spreadsheet there are 20 or so May applicants still waiting to hear from their 'holy, highness visa officers'. Out of which 2 applicants haven't heard from his almighty for passport request. Isn't it nail biting moment to see person after you get his/her status changed while you wait in disbelief? it's like you run a marathon and you are leading and then judge declares you to slow down while allowing the guy behind you to run before you...

you are wrong as it is generally slow around ND visa office 365 days a year..for them everyday is a Christmas....I applied in May and since May there has been few episodes of burst where 10 guys get visas one day and then deep sleep and then after three weeks another burst....it's like a defective water pump in rice fields. It sputters and then water rushes and that's it and it starts again, farmers rejoice only to see pump going dead again...I have many more examples (defective car; defective roller coasters; defective in-laws --nice some days and then they become TV serial in-laws; etc) let me know if you feel bored...
