Sorry guys for bringing a negative vibe to the group. It is just that I used to be proud of Canada, not much any more.

I know the visa will come whenever it comes. I can always go back and serve Mother India. India has changed a lot and amount of opportunities are endless to be honest.

If nothing else, I can run for elections .

I think the silence in NVDO is an indication of storm of good news, they are working on the file...guys give them some time to work...I am also eagarly waiting for my turn..

I noticed a few ppl saying that NDVO has a quota & stuff but even if they have a quota, it wouldnt be complete as they didnt give much visas during strike. I think they are focusing more on Student Visa.

Hello..

I am asking this question on behalf of an another applicant...

Date of application - Sep 2012
Medical Expired - 7 July 2013

This couple received their first GCMS notes today.

According to the GCMS notes, the applicant was sent an email on 15 September 2013 and were asked to get a second medical examination done.

But unfortunately, the applicant never received the email and thus the medicals were not done.

Now after almost 3 months they receive this information about missed email and missed medical request.

Now what should the applicant do ... What should be the next step of applicant ???

I know its a silly question but thought this is the best place to ask, i am in canada markham, my wife is in India, i am planning to send her cake and flowers on her birthday, anyone know anysite here which is good and accepts canadian visa cards.

thx u anupam why don't u do mp enquiry? ndvo will give u no information except generic....its waste of time frankly

I just called my MP office and gave them the details. lets hope we get some light at the end of the tunnel.....should hear something next week....

I doubt there wil be a quota....if there is I am really ashamed I am a Canadian citizen where it is not allowing spouses to join ....its really unheard of ....they might have a target but I will definitely sue if I get any proof of a quota for spouses to join the hubby may be need a class action case

send email to NDVO and they should send something for the medicals...also check your email in the spam box as well next time

Congrats on getting IP.
Just got back from India on the weekend...I was hoping my wife would get her visa while I was there but the only update we got last week was..."Medicals have been received"
Hopefully we get lucky this week...so my wife can be with me before year end ;D ;D

Maybe do the medicals and submit the GCMS notes, the medicals and a letter saying that the email was missed to the NDVO before they get rejected for not submitting the documents aka medicals that were requested. The applicants in this case should have not waited so long to apply for GCMS notes when the medicals were expiring and they went past 12 months without any news from NDVO. Did they do any MP inquiry or call CIC/NDVO?
