Could anyone who did MP inquiry in Toronto please tell me if they were helpful? Coz I heard toronto area MPs are not that helpful bcoz they get so many requests. I'm debating if I should do inquiry. Just got some general newsletter of my area MP in the mail, may be that's a sign to do inquiry lol

Dont expect too much from these MPs offices. The only thing they can do is give you the latest udpate on your file ..so in a way its faster than GCMS.Besides that....they cant do anything. You will be told ...the normal process is 12 months...ur file is on track...blah blah blah. Been there ..done that.

If you want latest update on ur file....do contact them . They should update u within 24-48 hours.

Yes myrah...december 15th i should hear something or 16th. They usually take a month from the day officer is assigned to ur file @ NDVO ( most cases.....some lucky ones get it earlier). So in ur case...give it another 3 weeks..and u should see a DM with PP back ...ia .

Apparently there are 2 officers...one that checks all the requirements and one that stamps ur PP.
Once the checks are cleared...the PP\File is sent back to the responsible officer who stamps ur PP.

waiting waiting now..........and I shall now start checkin my e-cas every morning :P :P :P don't even know when I went in IP hahaha ..... get ready zormas im gonna kick u out very soon and then all u guys can kick me out.....and I hope all ppl in ip since so many month all get dm together and all 27 files pending get ip.......and hurayyyyyyy backlog pending is over.......so simple ;D ;D ;D

There should be one UCI per person. I have one from my initial PR application, and my wife, who is being sponsored by me, has one now. but its only one per person for the rest of the process. even when you contact them years later for whatever reason, you will still have the same uci. hope this helps

Toronto MPs might not be that helpful but it doesn't hurt to try it out. You never know you might be the lucky one to get a response from them. Just ask them. You already know the worst case scenario of them not responding to you.
