bollywood calling chamu....sunset or snow fall background is so 90s....today, if it is shot in Canada, it will be both of them with snow shovel in their hands and singing songs while shoving snow off their sidewalk...if it is India, smog pollution in the background while they cough together running away from the smog...

Though we r in dis era..as of now i love dat climax bcoz no visa no passport its our india .. happy life ..

Bt still i do agree with ur climax too.. especially regarding india's pollution

Guys, is it worth to ask the lawyer to send pictures/tickets from ur recent trip Together(after filing application ) to ndvo ?
My application is in process since nov 8th. N I feel there is no action being taken as they said medical results awaited on this file in the last email enquiry that our lawyer made couple of weeks ago.

hey SN0206 is right u don't need to send anymore proof since u are already in ip.......your interview is waived...so don't worry....u shld be getting good news as soon as your medicals get updated....

Aw your so sweet! Thanks so much again for the wishes!!! I really hope i do get ip soon. glad to hear that your hubby is coming to see you soon so you dont need to miss him then. Hehe have a safe trip with your hubby in there. Also, i hope you get visa before your hubby leaves to Canada.

hopefully that's the plan to spend Christmas and new yrs together and finally go bk with each other lets keep fingers crossed I have 4 weeks in hand....and im IP since a week already... ;D im praying hard for your ip dear its abt time jan-april ppl get their ip's and dm's...... 8) 8) 8)

Hahaha... so true. especially here in Calgary, we are going through a wild snowstorm... but no matter the background, as long as she is with me and holding my hand, even hell would be pleasant!!!

So I just got an email from the New Delhi Visa Office. I had sent an email to the NDVO requesting more information about my file on Oct 17th and they replied today.

It was a long email saying that Privacy act cannot give to anyone who is not authorized including the spouse. So they mentioned to fill up the form
In order for you to submit any documentation or request any changes to an application, the applicant must appoint you as a representative. To do so, the applicant must submit a signed authorization form to our office. The “Use of a Representative (IMM 5476)” form is available here:

They sent such a long email in reply to that and gave no status after such a long time. So basically they wasted my time and their time as well. Has a spouse filled up this form and sent along with the application? Should I send this form and if it will slow things down? How do I send this form and what option should I select for Uncompensated and Family member or friend option?

Also she is in India and I am here and am wondering how we can send the document?

Hey Anupam, I got the exact same email from them. Looks like they finally woke up. I cannot remember when I submitted the request though. I am getting my wife to sign that form and I am going to reply to NDVO and see if it helps.

Hey guys...I decided to take a break from this whole immigration thing and didnt check my e-cas for 2 weeks. So I checked on Saturday and the status had changed to "in-process"..I guess its true when they say ..watched kettle never boils!

E-cas shows visa officer started working on file on Nov 15th.

I just found out ( through a connection) that my wife's file shows RFV(ready for visa) and all requirements cleared. This statement was made on Nov 22 but we still havent heard anything from the visa office yet.

I mean if everything is cleared..then why not just give the fkn visa ! whats the point in sitting on it and laying eggs ?


How long does it take after RFV ?

Hey good to hear your file is moving ahead. And I wonder if I should try the "watched kettle never boils" trick. At this point I am desperate to try anything. Also, what kind of connection do you have? Is it a high broadband connection? Can it handle many more requests... like the requests of the ppl in this forum? hahaha...
It might take them a week to actually apply the shiny visa and get your passport ready for mail out. so you are almost there, I think next week, if not late this week you should have it. Congrats and all the best!!!!

Congratz on ur IP. As per my notes on Nov14, it said 'meds check & then RFV'
If ur meds r updated on ECAS u should be getting DM soon.

they follow Canadian holidays which falls on dec 25 th and dec 26th..if you are thinking that due to polls tomorrow they will be closed then god help us...as it is they don't do much work but if they close for polls, rains, bandhs and 'I feel like closing today' moods then our visas will be issued in 2016.

And I would say it is normal for them to have a day off on the elections day. Not surprised, but yeah god help us if they start doing days off for mood swings... lol...
