Hi,

Is there any valid reason for NDVO is so silent for 3 weeks. I didn't read all pages in this thread. Pls reply if someone know about the reason for current slow process in NDVO.
Because they are lazy, senseless and unreasonable morons.
Sorry, other than that we don't know any other reason.

Are you guys aware of this? This might explain why NDVO asks for passports so early as well as takes a long time after late pprs.

I know PMM from forums from last 10 years starting from my own PR process and I respect him and am sure he knows what he is talking about:

Hi

In India the original passport is required for the security checks which take time.

Hey, they have changed the processing time to 12 months. Wish we get our visas soon.

Yes I know but mine MP says NDVO takes time
8 months after they recd.application in new delhi.
Apparently every MP has got their own set of instructions. Mine said 10 at first and then said 12 months.
There is no one particular person we can say as a right person to contact. Sigh. >:(

OMG.....I got my notes today! And guess what, stupid idiots havent started working on my file yet!

Eligibility: Not started

Rest assured your file is being worked on. May 21 applicant got request for additional documents. So yours must have gone through the first review at least.

Good luck,

Hi, I'm from Calgary as well!

wait, there IS something happening...since even a fly buzzing around our files these days is worthy of news,
OMG OMG OMG......the paper file is moving around!!!!

As of my last GCMS notes pulled on Oct 21st, it was in Registry since June 4th.
Now...Moved to FCU-CA room on Nov 1st --> then to SC 01504 on Nov 26th, which is the same date my GCMS notes were pulled...hmmmm...so there's hope?!!

Any ideas on what SC stands for? Also, Waiting to exhale and other May applicants, pls check ur "Paper file" section and update us! I'm open to guesses on how long it will take from this pt... ;D

you are very kind with only few bleeped words....NDVO world operates like that nothing started yet for months and, hopefully, it changes all of a sudden. I had ordered my notes twice and all I found was paper file has been flying first class on UPS or maybe by ship (upper deck like Titanic is preferable with my heart belongs to NDVO song) from Canada to India. One good thing is I don't belong to any organized crime (at this rate maybe NDVO with their actions would force me to join a mafia)

there was a link that I suggested to someone a while ago for reading 'notes' and understanding the abreviations but I can't find it...here is another link for discussions about 'notes' ..you will regret why you even asked what 'SC' means...once you finish reading all the posts, you will be awarded Ph.D. for understanding 'notes'

Hi Bro.pl.do Google search canada parliment
Spouse visa report year 2013-14.Then u find
Spouse visa quota.quota is main reason for slow
Process.Already mine lawyer says they can't issue
Visa in Nov& dec.means very low visa granted due
to quota.2nd reason now they take 8 months after
reiceved file in New Delhi our MP was also says.

as far as I know there are no quotas for family visa...maybe others can confirm or deny my assumption...

GOOD MORNING FRIENDS.......

OK so my guess was right, SC is Security Criminality. It's odd that the file went to SC before junior officer made any notes on Interview Waiver recommended or not... :-X

Also, I second that - no quota for spousal. They plan their resource allocation based on previous yr estimates, that's all.
