As per notes last update on my file is

Email sent to CPC-M requesting to allocate processing fees and rprf and advise us

This was done on 4th october 2013

Eligibility and criminality was passed on 19 september 2013

I dnt have any travel history.....dnt know why security checks are taking this long

I am guessing that NDVO may be having trouble getting in touch with the one who does the security checks. And seems like CPC-M has been involved to advise. Which might be why it's taking some time. They might be going back and forth with a question and answer session.

Don't worry, I am sure you will get the DM soon.
Since November was very silent, December will be bringing blasts of IPs and DMs.

yes when a decision us made that's how they write it always ......visa approved or rejected.......u have to wait for their e-mail or letter now....

your decision is made on e-cas .........but u have the pp with u and your medical and pcc have expired? wait for a week u will come to know thru e-mail or mail..........but its a little weird here coz if u were goin to get visa they wld have asked u to go and do medicals and pcc again which they didn't and your e-cas shows dm....I hope this is not true hot90 but it seems that they have rejected the visa... ......I pray very hard that my words go wrong....but dm is not making any sense to me....it shld have been in IP only not dm...........

It may be a computer glitch. Sometimes it takes days for status to change on ECAS after IP or DM. And who knows how NDVO works. They might ask the passport and remedicals later to allow more delays... Like they did with suban ( they could have just emailed asking for medicals and didn't need to send back passport)

But I am thinking the same as you, Myrah, that they would have taken the passport.
Hot90.. Good luck but prepare yourself in case it is bad news, which I am hoping that it is not.
What questions did they ask at the interview? And when you left, what was the feeling you got.. That the interview was good or it was bad?

Interview was very good end of the interview visa officer said u can go we send u email about ur result she was very nice officer
1. How old are u
2. What is ur husband age
3.what job is ur husband doing
4. My husband was with me but he is sit outside of the room
5.She said i do not want to talk to ur husband
6.what we will do decission we will send u email
7.she returend marriage photographs too which we send our file ask me some relatives in the pic.

Next day they udated my e cas DM stage 2

its very obvious that she just called u guys for interview to confirm the age difference....disgusted....

can u share what job u do? if its ok for u to tell otherwise np

They said if ur husband in india he can come with u but in visa office when they saw him with his canadian passport they said they said they just want to talk to her that why my husband said nothing he also shocked why she return ur passport.

do they reject all applications that have big age difference? even if the applicants show that they have known each other and been in a relationship for more than 5 years? this is just a hypothetical case..just wondering if this applicant had other red flags other than age difference..if they have to reject this candidate due to age difference why can't they do it much sooner rather than wait for almost 12 months only to tell her that visa is denied..that's disgusting

don't know why they did this but im super disgusted too with ndvo.........this is total torture..........what nonsense If husband has Canadian passport he cant be there for the interview....don't they see he came all the way for it.............and how does it matter what age diff is there............ sick mentality ....
and all they asked was whats your age whats his age and booom visa rejected........if they knew this from the beginning why the hell call for interview and stretch it for 1 yr...what abt all proof submitted that has no value?....NDVO boooooooooooooo

Age difference may not be the only red flag. I don't know why they didn't allow your husband to come in. Did they allow both spouses to go in for the other interviews whenever both were together? I m not sure...
Does it also mean that they won't allow Canadian citizen sponsors into the interview with their spouses but only PR holding sponsors can go in? This is insane..

You will have to wait and see what they will do in December. It may seem like another way to delay the process further. Hope they will give you good news and ask for your passport, and to redo your PCC and medicals.
