I know Myrah, this week was quite. They must be working on our applications for sure but they are not updating ecas. I applied for my dad's tourist visa online on 27th November and got letter today from NDVO to submit his passport. It says "decision has been made on your application". They are issuing tourist visa in 1 day but working on our applications for months. I wish my ecas says the same "decision has been made on your application"

Hello Myrah.. The NDVO can keep your passports for how long??

Hello everyone, I had this same question and I was even wondering what is the legality of NDVO, or any other embassy/visa office/consulate for that matter, to hold a passport for extended periods of time. Has anyone considered this? And has anyone discussed this with lawyers? Please discuss or share your thoughts.
