more importantly I got my 500 posts...I owe it all to NDVO guys who made me write these posts making fun of them...with tears I would say 'I dedicate this shiny award to those little guys who work for NDVO'

Yay!! Congrats! We should give you a shiny sticker just for reaching yet another milestone. And the NDVO should give your shiny visa just because you have helped unveil their flaws which are too numerous to count and kept the mob of applicants at bay with your quick wit and humour. Otherwise we might have already razed the NDVO building to the ground with frustration.

Act my file was transferred to ndvo in July.....

Oic... Hmmm... Well then, basically what I am saying is that the month that the CIC office in Mississauga got your application would be the month that you would be the applicant of so you would be a June applicant (now that I have seen your timeline to verify dates). Well good luck with you application for being processed quickly.

zora the psychic predicts atleast 7 OMGs (including Myrah's) today..if one person writes 7 OMGs will that count?

In process since 18 sept. no change yet. Looking at all these DMs i am feeling jealous. Want mine now...

Is your case straightforward or any travel history? My file is inprocess since 27th august. I am too depressed and having no hopes. Don't know what NDVO is doing

You are right, there is no knowing what NDVO is doing everyday. But I am sure they are working on your cases
Don't be depressed...it is a long time to wait but I am sure you will get your visa soon. Just stay positive because you are in process. One day you will check ECAS and the amazing 2 words will be there nice and shiny DM and it will be soon! ;D

That's odd that you didn't get any notes. Did you get charged for it? If you did then you could call with receipt and follow up with what happened to your notes.

Dont understand y NDVO asking for passport so early wen nothing is done......keeping hold of it n whoeva wanna travel cant do nothing cos of this......very annoying.......

Once they get through the May applicants, they will look at the June applications... So maybe sometime in December... Don't stress out so much because that will not help in the long run... We are all in the same boat here and it's the luck of the draw if you get processed faster than some of the other or not. Also it might be too soon for you to apply for GCMS because they wouldn't have started processing your file yet.

Yeah lol... It would definitely be better to have 7 or more different OMGs than one person saying OMG 7 times... But what if all 7 applicants write 7 OMGs each? Even better!

Once again, it's one of the many mysteries of the NDVO. I wonder too what they do with all the passports once they get them but maybe they think that it gives us a false feeling that they are working on our applications while in reality, some of those files are collecting dust. Or maybe they like to get the easy tasks done first.
