Can I ask one question wheneva they send the PP back with the visa, do they send a courier or just a regular mail. I mean to say will the postman just drop it in the mail or he would need a signature??

registered mail by indian postal service...if you know the postman very well, he might drop of the mail without your signature..otherwise you may have to give authorization letter to receive it on your behalf

thats weired !! I always thought they just drop off in the mail like they did it for me when I had applied for my visa and they did the same with my parents.

one member in this forum said mail was dropped off by the door and mailman did not get any signature...while someone else said mailman wanted photo id..I guess there is no rule that mailman has to get signature and I may be wrong on this one....but one thing is clear that mail is delivered by indian postal system and not private couriers

My MP says that they didn't receive any update from New Delhi even after 20 days. Does it seem right?

We also did mp enquiry...they dint respond for 10 days and then my wife called mp office and took appointment again.....then some lady frm mp office called cic and got us the update the same moment

They said that we hav passed eligibility and next bfd is 17 nov.....it's Sunday on 17 so probably they will touch my file after that date

Jol789 got dm on 28th oct and he got his pp with visa only on 12th nov that's 15 days.....so don't worry u shld be getting your pp bk any day now good luck..

Even I got d same reply from my mp that file is in d final stage of review and the next bfd is 17th november.....am also a march applicant and my file is in process since 16th september
