does anyone know how long does it take to receive the passport after the decision has been made?

OMG guys!!! Saw the best two words in the English language right now on my Ecas - Decision Made!!!! Here is my timeline:

Application received by CIC-M: 22nd March 2013
Meds done: Feb 2013
AOR: April 2013
Sponsorship approval and File Transfer: 16th April 2013
PPR: 22nd May 2013
In process: 7th Oct 2013 as per Ecas (Change in status happened post 10th Oct)
Decision Made: 1st Nov 2013

I had stopped checking Ecas from September 23rd onwards coz I was tired of seeing the same status. My husband had told me that he checked Ecas on Oct 9th and it was still Application received and Medical results have been received.

Post Oct 9th, he checked Ecas again only on Oct 30th night and that's when we found out that my status was In Process since Oct 7th as per the website and I guess the status got updated on the website only post October 10th which is why we were not aware of it when he had checked before on Oct 9th. So I guess my Decision Made status got updated on Ecas either 31st Oct or today 1st Nov!

So so so happy! Just waiting for my passport now and hoping to see the shiny visa in it!!

does anyone know how long does it take to receive the passport after the decision has been made?

On average, it takes between 2 days to 1 week depending on where NDVO has to mail the passport. Don't worry, I am sure it will be delivered soon...

Hey Myrah, I am thinking we should have a Diwali blast there is lots to celebrate from this week with lots of IPs, DMs and the return of all passports with shiny visas!

Plus, we should also celebrate you hitting 2000 posts this weekend. What would that make you? An extraordinary champion member of this forum and a great friend with an amazing personality.

And yes, Myrah has definitely been the most helpful person on this forum and on other forums as well, and being a Champion member proves how actively involved she is.
She really brings positivity and encouragement, boosting our morale and helping out with our questions.

Moreover, she keeps track of all of us and keeps us organized which is difficult to do because there are like 1000+ forum members and more keep joining. And even though she has a life outside of the forum, just like all of us, she still stays involved on this forum at all times.

I believe she should get standing ovation with a kick out of this forum really soon from here because she deserves it. Also, knowing her so far, even if we kick her out, she will keep coming back. That's why it needs to be simultaneous kick by everyone at the count of 3.
