atleast u guys have in-process.. but ntng has been changed in my ecas status.. just showing app received and med received. feel like hitting those guys real hard to work in a FIFO method or in some in serial way which keeps good record without missing anyone.

I can understand this very well; there is no system and transparency in whole process we can not do anything except waiting.

I have a similar situation and it's so annoying. Even my E Cas says App recvd + Medical recvd, I dunno when will it change to In Process. Did you order notes by any change? if you did can you please share it with me

FIFO method may not work with NDVO since the background checks take time....they can't wait until background checks are completed for one person and then start the next one...not sure how it worked in the past before the strikes, lot of backlog is due to the strike. FIFO would help those 2012 applicants whose files seems to have been forgotten...what would help everyone is transparency. If NDVO keeps everyone updated on their files then people would be less anxious. For e.g. if they sent an email or show in the ecas status that background checks have been initiated...estimated completion time 6 months or we will review your file again on such and such day....without ordering notes people won't know what is happening with their files so updating ecas with updates would help
