Guys I heard back from MP today that my hubby is in queue for interview NDVO said could be 1-3 months but most likely 2 months ! I better start planning to there in December

Seems like they sent you an email for PPR back in August. If you don't see any email in your inbox or junk that means some how it did not reach you. I would say send the passport as soon as you can with the photocopy of the section which shows they sent an email for PPR. I know lots of ppl who missed their PPR and did exactly what I mentioned above and it worked absolutely fine.

Hey , how do you that your medicals expire on Nov 2nd ?? can you please share is this the date you gave your medicals or it is given in your notes or some where else or the person who called you mentioned it??

I was under the impression that after we give medicals, the doctor have to process and then send to NDVO and it usually takes 2 to 3 weeks after we give medicals and the exact expiry date is given on the GCMS notes...correct me if I am wrong.

example my wife gave medicals on last week of Dec 2012 and the expiry on GCMS notes is given as last week of Jan 2014...one month after the medicals date.

BTW congrats on your VISA.

Hey...it is in the GCMS notes in Medicals section they have an entry called expiry date. also in the call with my wife the NDVO official mentioned it.

I will provide the information of sponsorship timeline information below, and please provide any info/help as to according to my information, when can I expect my wife and I's application to progress further. Application approved(In Canada): May 30th, 2013
Application transfer to New Delhi: June 5th, 2013

And ever since, this is where our application process stands. We haven't heard anything from the NDVO/CHC or our laywers ever since.

Also, the other question which ponders my mind is that, would it be wise to return to India to renew my wife's medical? or should we just wait for the the final step and get it done once everything is approved and a request is made by the NDVO to get the medical renewed?

Your help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Photocopy of the GCMS notes and highlight the area where it says they have sent an email requesting PPR. Also attach a letter explaining everything and believe it should be fine. Don't wait for them to ask for Passport as it will be just a waste of time.

i was waiting for ur post..good to see that interview waiver recommended...in eligibility its says IN process OR Recommend Passed....what abt the Medical...same as it i got mine Notes on Oct 4th..!!

Eligibility says Recommended Passed and Medicals states passed too.

Thanks! We managed to have a 3 hours skype today and also sharing a glass of wine to celebrate our anniversary in a virtual way!!!

And reading your last post about the answer of your MP, if what he said is true and if NDVO is scheduling interview in queue according to application date... We will get ready for an interview soon!!!

Cool....So even interview waivers can be delayed....I hope no interview for us too...we have almost same timeline and thought we are late coz of an interview scheduling process....bit relieved after looking at ur notes...

welcome to NDVO's game called 'lucky or unlucky' or another game 'guess how old I have become waiting for my visa?"...by NDVO's standard operating procedure (yes, they have SOP book for everything) they should have asked you to send your passport within one or two months after transferring your file to New Delhi. Since they have not, just like my case either they did not send your lawyer an email or the request is somewhere in la la land (between New Delhi and twilight zone). Ask your lawyer to check spam folder and any other folders that his/her email has. If nothing found, send in your 'notes'. As for renewing your wife's medical, wait until they ask. They are clearing 2012 (yes that is correct) applications and Jan-Mar 2013 applications and started doing some April applications. It is a matter of luck and I guess ND visa officer's mood. If your stars are aligned properly and visa officer's significant other treats him/her well then it is your day. For some applicants they have given few weeks to pack and go before the medicals expired and for some they were asked to redo their medicals.

send your passport along with the gcms notes highlight PPR and a cover letter stating u neva got an email for ppr- found out abt it thru ur gcms notes. Do it asap. Good luck.

No it wouldn't...according to me they are clearing the backlogs first that's why whom Medical is going to expire in Month or before and case is good they are clearing that one firstly..giving to visa's them to just clear the backlogs...don't worry we will get our Visa within 1-2 Months for sure..!!! as u know they are not reliable with the E-cas as well whenever they open the file they updated on e-cas from app recvd to in-process and some people get DM in 3 months some in few days after getting the In-process and some get it in the same day when they get there passport .Like my friend who was Feb applicant got her passport last week and on the same day got change in E-cas from Only "app recvd" (not even medical) to DM....So,cool and relaxed we will get visa soon don't worry and be happy...

I agree I think thats what they are doing. They are trying to give visa's to ppl who's medicals will expire in a month or so. My wife did my medicals in feb too and I think thats y we all are waiting it's because there is still for our medicals to expire.

u r may 2013 applicant -- and medical about to expire -- btw medicals are valid for a year (juz in case u r not aware of it or u got it done in 2012??). Anyways for PPR i would suggest apply gcms notes its gonna take 1 month to get the notes and u for sure will find out tht u missed ppr mail somehow and thn can send pp along with ur gcms notes. Good luck.

I agree I think thats what they are doing. They are trying to give visa's to ppl who's medicals will expire in a month or so. My wife did my medicals in feb too and I think thats y we all are waiting it's because there is still for our medicals to expire.

If there is a company called 'NDVO' and they issue stocks and my money is based on speculating why they are doing as to what they are doing, I would be in 'gazillionaires club', sitting next to Bill Gates and drinking whatever he is drinking

How are we doing an inquiry to our MP? Is there any specific procedures or forms? I'm used to applied for GCMS notes but haven't tried MP yet! Would like to try and see if I get anything from him.

All this medical expiring business is bullcrap if you frankly ask me.

The procedure that NDVO used to follow couple of years go was brilliant and was in-line with with other visa offices.
Everything was sequential.

Processing and eligibility occurs first.
Then comes medical request.
Then comes passport stamping process.

Now NDVO is showing the true Indian mentality, no process, no order and nothing but confusion.
